SUPPLEMENTARY

LAUNCESTON PACING CLUB

Race 10 Saturday 16th April 2022 & Race 8 Sunday 24th April 2022

Stewards today concluded an investigation into MACHS MARETA NZ being nominated for Race 10 on Saturday 16th April 2022 and Race 8 on Sunday 24th April 2022 -both meetings being conducted by the Launceston Pacing Club, when the mare was ineligible by virtue of the conditions of the said races.                                                            . Trainer Mr. B Yole admitted a resultant breach of AHRR87(2), and was fined $200.00, with the particulars being that as the trainer, and person in charge, of MACHS MARETA NZ he entered the mare when the conditions of both races excluded her entry.

In determining penalty, the Stewards acknowledged factors in mitigation, including that notwithstanding Mr. Yole’s error, the ineligibility was not subsequently detected in checking processes.
