RACE 1 – CASCADE DRAUGHT PACE– 2090 METRES

REGAL KENZIE was out of position at the start and has been placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

KING OF COOL (Mitch Ford) contacted the sulky of MODERN MCDEE and broke as the field raced towards the first turn checking and inconveniencing several horses.

MODERN MCDEE broke free of interference as the field raced towards the first turn, this gelding has been placed on its last chance to race truly. MODERN MCDEE gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 37 metres.

IMPULZE inconvenienced as a result of KING OF COOL galloping.

MAYWYN MACDUFF inconvenienced as a result of KING OF COOL galloping.

GOING GREAT GUNS severely checked as a result of KING OF COOL galloping.

POPNPENNIES was checked as a result of KING OF COOL galloping. Utilised the sprint lane over the concluding stages.

MOLLYS BEST gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 44 metres.

Driver Mitch Ford (KING OF COOL) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHRR 168(1)(a) in that he carelessly contacted the sulky of MODERN MCDEE as the field raced towards the first turn. Mr. Ford was reprimanded.

Driver Mitch Ford (KING OF COOL) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHRR 168(1)(a) in that he carelessly contacted the sulky of STUNNIN MAGIC NZ as he was attempting to shift out into the one wide line as the field raced into the back straight on the final occasion. Mr. Ford was fined the sum of $100.

BALDASARRE and KING OF COOL underwent a post-race veterinary examinations as these geldings were due to race on 27 November 2022.

RACE 2 – LADBROKES PACE – 1609 METRES

BRIAN WHO hung in during the score up and contacted a marker peg, a warning has been placed on this gelding. This gelding shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

VIGOROSO NZ shifted up the track during the early stages of the score up inconveniencing REMEMBER ME NOW NZ and has been placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

REMEMBER ME NOW NZ was unable to fully come into its starting position during the early stages of the score up due to VIGOROSO NZ shifting up the track.

RADAR STRIDE’S outside sulky tyre went flat during the score up.

JOHN RICHARD hung in during the score up. This gelding pulled hard at various stages of this event.

MACH ANGELO hung in during the score up before breaking. This gelding has been placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

DAPPER NZ hung out and subsequently contacted a marker peg as it shifted back down the track as the field racing towards the home straight on the first occasion.

PINK PONDER was caught wide in the early and middle stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.

SEA HAWKE utilised the sprint lane.

Driver Taylor Ford (BRIAN WHO) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHRR 162(1)(y) in that she failed to meet the sectional time requirements for the first half of the last mile. Ms. Ford was fined the sum of $100.

Drivers Taylor Ford and Bronte Miller were cautioned over their use of the whip.

RACE 3 – CAVALOR EQUICARE PACE – 2090 METRES

A false start was declared at the first attempt due to LUCKSAFORTUNE galloping during the score up and causing interference to trailing horses. LUCKSAFORTUNE has been placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

CARDINAL SIN NZ pulled hard during the score up and was out of position at the start, due to the previous false start no action was taken. This gelding pulled hard at various stages.

STAR RULER NZ pulled hard during the score up. This gelding underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no significant findings.

EUROKING pulled hard during the score up and at various stages of this event.

SPORTS ILLUSTRATOR was caught wide early and restrained to the rear of the field.

SPORTS ILLUSTRATOR contacted the sulky wheel of STAR RULER as the field raced away from the 300 metres.

GAMEOFCHANCE utilised the sprint lane.

EL JAYS BLU gave ground to be beaten in excess of 42 metres.

Driver Heath Woods (SPORTS ILLUSTRATOR) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHRR 168(1)(a) in that he carelessly contacted the sulky of STAR RULER as the field raced away from the 300 metres. Mr. Woods was fined the sum of $100.

RACE 4 – NUTRIEN SPRINTLANE PACE2090 METRES

MAJOR ASSASSIN jibbed in the early stages of the score up, as this gelding was fully in position when the field was released no action was taken.

THE DUDE NZ broke during the score up and has been placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

VELOCITY STRIDE pulled hard at various stages.

DEBT TILL WE PART was held up for clear racing room early in the home straight on the final occasion.

THE DUDE NZ was momentarily held up for clear racing room behind the tiring KICK IT TO JACK over the concluding stages.

WHEY BETTER utilised the sprint lane.

The all clear for this event was delayed allowing Stewards to review the official films of the start to determine if THE DUDE NZ (Dylan Ford) had taken an unfair advantage at the start. After viewing the official films and acting on their own observations Stewards were satisfied THE DUDE NZ had started from its appropriate starting position and all clear was given on the judges’ numbers.

RACE 5 – TASMANIAN HORSE TRANSPORT PACE2090 METRES

WITH REVENGE NZ underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after completing its preliminary which revealed it had bled from one nostril and was consequently a late scratching on vets’ advice. Under the provisions of AHRR 101B (2) this mare has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

MACH BRILLIANCE reared and landed on its hind quarters while circling prior to the start of this event. This mare underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities and was passed fit to race.

FORGOT THE WALLET broke during the score up and has been placed outside the draw in future mobile start events. This mare was held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.

LETHERROCKNROLL NZ hung in between the 400 and 300 metre mark. This mare over raced at various stages of this event, tiring to be beaten in excess of 84 metres. LETHERROCKNROLL NZ underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. This mare has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.

MISSIN ROCK utilised the sprint lane.

Driver Tiarna Ford (IDEN MISS LUCY) was queried by Stewards on her driving tactics, in particular her decision not to proceed forward earlier in the race. Ms. Ford stated that it was her intention to go forward at the first opportunity, however, when she attempted to do so MACH BRILLIANCE (Mark Yole) had started to progress three wide and she was forced to restrain and wait for another opportunity. Stewards noted Ms. Fords explanation.

TRUE STEPPER underwent a post-race veterinary examination as this mare is due to race on 27 November 2022.

RACE 6 –TYPEFACE PACE2090 METRES

COOL SCOOTER NZ galloped out and has been placed on its last chance in the standing start draw.

ROCK ON PLAYBOY galloped out and has been placed on its last chance in the standing start draw.

CAPTAIN COSMONAUT stood flat footed before galloping. This gelding has been placed outside the draw in future standing start events.

BEE SEVENTEEN broke after the start and will continue to be placed outside the draw in future standing start events.

HENRY HU NZ galloped out and has been placed outside the draw in future standing start events. This gelding tired over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 65 metres. HENRY HU NZ has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Driver Nathan Ford (RANIERI NZ) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHRR 165(1)(b) in that as the field raced towards the first turn, he attempted to move his drive closer to the inside running line without being a metre clear of ONEOFTHELADS (Taylor Ford), causing this gelding to be tightened for room and subsequently gallop. Mr Ford’s driver licence has been suspended for a period of three race dates commencing midnight 4 December until midnight 18 December 2022.

PROSECUTION WITNESS NZ, SPOT ON NZ, NO NUKES SKIPPER NZ, EQUITY STRIDE and ROCK ON PLAYBOY underwent a post-race veterinary examinations as these horses are due to race on 27 November 2022.

RACE 7 – CROWN LAGER PACE2090 METRES

BELIEVE IN FOREVER was out of position at the start. Driver Liam Older was reprimanded under the provisions of AHRR 162(1)(j) in that he failed to maintain his starting position behind the mobile barrier.

DEADLY ASSASSIN was out of position at the start. Driver Jakob White was reprimanded under the provisions of AHRR 162(1)(j) in that he failed to maintain his starting position behind the mobile barrier.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND was caught wide in the early stages of this event and restrained to the rear of the field.

ROCKS ROY was caught wide in the early stages of this event and restrained to the rear of the field. This gelding contacted a marker peg while tiring.

KIAVINO STRIDE raced inside a marker peg approaching the home turn. Driver Bronte Miller was reprimanded under the provisions of AHRR 163(1)(c)(ii).

Driver Bronte Miller pleaded guilty to a charge under 162(1)(y) in that she failed to meet the sectional time requirements for the first half of the last mile. Ms. Miller was fined the sum of $100.

RACE 8 – PRYDES EASIFEED PACE2090 METRES

GUYS BETTOR BET was out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

GUYS BETTOR BET broke free of interference as the filed raced out of the home straight on the first occasion. This gelding has been placed on its last chance to race truly.

RAFFAS ACE tired to be beaten in excess of 148 metres. This gelding underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings, consequently RAFFAS ACE has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Driver Cody Crossland (CINOCAL JAMANE) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHRR 156(2)(a) in that he used the whip with more than a wrist only flicking motion. Mr. Crossland was fined the sum of $200.
