Trainers with multiple runners in a race advised Stewards of intended tactics.

Sprint lane in operation tonight’s meeting.

RACE 1 – LADBROKES BIG BETS PACE - 2090M MS

A warning placed on MARV DREAMING (R. Duggan) hung out at various stages and gave ground to be beaten 103 Metres.

RACE 2 – TYPEFACE PACE- 2090M MS 

Reins person L. Older (QUENNOFDANCE) fined $50 for racing inside marker peg approaching front straight final occasion. R 163 (1) (c) (i).

RACE 3 – VALE PHILLIP BRUISER YOUNG PACE - 2090M 

SHADES OF SILK (P. Williams) galloped on two occasions after jumping shadows and warning issued.

NIKITA JO (T. Ford) and SANJE COLLINS (J. Watson) both performed poorly and warnings issued.

Reins person J. Duggan (SPORTZSILK) reminded of obligations when his drives shift ground over concluding stages of a race. FAR LEFT FLETCH (J. Chibnall) who was trailing SPORTZSILK was able to obtain a run without utilising the sprint lane

RACE 4 – LATHER UP @ WOODLANDS STUD PACE - 1609M MS

MACH ANGELO (E. Arnott) paced roughly near 400 Metres.

RACE 5 – FEHLBERGS PRODUCE SPRINTLANE PACE -1609M MS

FIVE STAR SHARK (J. Duggan) which galloped in score up and out of position at start will be excluded from draw in mobile barrier start races.

The reins persons licence of Taylor Ford (GOODTIME OSCAR) was suspended for two race meetings after being found guilty to a charge of contributing to crossing AWAY GAME (M. Yole) after leaving back straight resulting in AWAY GAME contacting and dislodging marker pegs. R163 (1) (a) (i). In assessing penalty stewards considered plea of not guilty, mid-level of interference and recent driving record. 

DEBT TILL WE PART (P. Williams) jumped a marker peg which was on the track on home turn first occasion and took no competitive part thereafter.

RACE 6 – TASMANIAN HORSE TRANSPORT PACE - 2090M MS

No racing incidents.

 

RACE 7 – AUSTRALIAN DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP 21 DECEMBER PACE -2090M MS
