KERMADEC- Broke on the home turn after jumping a dislodged marker peg.

AD MAIORA- Showed gate speed to lead the event. Driver counselled regarding his whip action over the concluding stages. Stewards in not applying a penalty were mindful that driver Ford had had recent limited race drives and that this was a late driving change made approximately 2 hours before the race due to driver Nathan Ford ineligible to fulfill his engagement.

TO THE LOOKOUT-Showed gate speed to gain the position outside the leader early. Driver fined for shifting tightening the room of another runner.

FURY DAN- Restrained at the start. Left a trailing position in the middle stages to race three wide before obtaining a position outside the leader.

BRIAN WHO- Restrained at the start.

General - Stewards questioned drivers Hannah Van Dongen, (TO THE LOOKOUT), supported by Driver Robert Walters and Jacob Duggan, (IMHOOKED) supported by trainer Adrian Duggan into an incident racing off the back straight on the final occasion. After taking evidence from all parties, viewing the official patrol films and acting on steward’s observations, Miss Van Dongen was found guilty of a charge under provisions of AHRR168(1)(a) - Careless. The particulars of the charge were that racing to the 400m Miss Van Dongen shifted outwards from the position on the pegs to the one wide line which presented an inside run for Jacob Duggan. Miss Van Dongen then elected to shift back to the position she vacated resulting in Jacob Duggan having to significantly check his horse. Miss Van Dongen was fined a sum of $200.

General - Stewards questioned driver Robert Walters, (YARECKON IM SWEET) regarding the tactics and performance of the mare. Mr Walters explained that the way the race was run did not suit the mare given the quarters and is better suited when she is able to secure the lead position in her races. After viewing the official patrol films, stewards noted the explanation, informing Mr Walters stewards will monitor future drives. Trainer W Yole was advised on returning to the stables should the mare show any abnormalities he must report to stewards as soon as possible.
