STEWARDS REPORT

Trainers with multiple runners in a race advised Stewards of intended tactics.

Sprint lane in operation tonight’s meeting.

RACE 1 –WOODLANDS STUD DYNAMO HEAT ONE – 1609M MS

No racing incidents.

RACE 2 –LADBROKES DYNAMO HEAT TWO – 1609M MS

JUSTIFY (H. Van Dongen) raced roughly after start and galloped front straight first occasion was placed on last chance to race truly.

A post-race veterinary examination of ALBERIO (J. Chibnall) which after racing without cover gave ground to be beaten 75 Metres revealed no abnormalities, however slight elevated heart rate with slow recovery. NO NUKES SKIPPER (M Ford) inconvenienced near 400 Metres when ALBERIO gave ground.

RACE 3 – TASRACING DYNAMO HEAT THREE- 1609M MS

The reins person’s license of M. Ford (INSIDE THREE BARS) suspended for one Tasmanian race meeting after he had pleaded guilty to a charge of crossing SOHO TUXEDO (L. Older) in front straight first occasion when not clear of that gelding 163 (1) (a) (i). In assessing penalty stewards considered plea of guilty, degree of interference and recent driving record.

Stewards questioned R. Hillier (MUZZAME MATE) and M. Ford (INSIDE THREE BARS) in respect to incident near 450 Metres in which contact was made to near hind leg of MUZZAMATE MATE by sulky wheel on INSIDE THREE BARS. It was established that the leader LUVTHAT (T. Ford) was shifting up the track and as result INSIDE THREE BARS who was trailing that horse had MUZZAMATE racing tight to his outside who couldn’t shift up the track. Stewards were satisfied that due to combination of factors no action against any driver, but a warning placed on race manners of LUVTHAT.

RACE 4 –INTERSPORT HOBART DYNAMO HEAT FOUR - 1609M MS

No racing incidents.

RACE 5 –TTC DYNAMO HEAT FIVE – 1609M MS

RAGING ON (J. Chibnall) which galloped on two occasions final 400 Metres placed on last chance race truly. MACH ANGELO (L. Older) inconvenienced by RAGING ON.

Racing towards front straight first occasion MACH ANGELO and GOBSMACKED (H. Van Dongen) hung inwards and contacted marker pegs.

RACE 6 –WOODLANDS STUD DYNAMO HEAT 6 - 1609M MS

HORATIUS SPECULO (T. Ford) inclined to shift up the track entering front straight run to finish.

RACE 7 –INTERSPORT KINGSTON DYNAMO HEAT 7 – 1609M MS

MARTYR (J. Chibnall) which led the race inclined to hang of pegs at various stages of race.

RACE 8 –FEHLBERGS PRODUCE DYNAMO HEAT EIGHT – 1609M MS

A warning placed on MR. BONDI (H. Van Do which hung inwards tightening ground of VINCENZO (J. Watson) which contacted marker pegs.

Supplementary:    

Trainer F. Taibia fined $250 for failing to obtain approval for horses he had in Tasmania in left in care of a licensed trainer. AHHRR 119A.

Stewards have approved horses that he currently has in Tasmania be transferred to Trainer T. Langley.
