RACE 1  –  LADBROKES BET TICKER PACE.  –  2090m  Mobile

IMPULZE- Showed gate speed.

TRIEDTOTELLYA- Showed gate speed to lead the event.

KERALA STAR NZ -Pulled hard in the score up.

ENSTEIN- Restrained at the start.

GOBSMACKED-Restrained at the start.

RACE 2  –  PRYDES EASIFEED PACE–  2090m  Mobile

ALL ABOUT SADIE- Showed gate speed to lead the event and relinquished the lead racing off the back straight on the first occasion.

PEANUT SUTTER- Showed gate speed. Trainer post race advised the stewards that the gelding displaced its tongue tie during the running of the event which believes had an effect in its performance in tonight’s event. Stewards noted his comments for future reference.

MIKI SANZ- Showed gate speed to sit outside the leader and obtained a trail in the middle stages. Raced outside the leader again over the latter stages.

KEAYANG KEVIN- Caught wide in the early stages after showing gate speed and progressed forward to lead the event.

STRANDED LOLLIPOP- Out of position at the start and will continue out of the draw in future mobile events.

RACE 3  –  FEHLBERGS PRODUCE SPRINTLANE PACE–  1609m  Mobile

ISLA ATHENA-Showed gate speed to lead the event.

POST KEG-Showed gate speed.

BOLT OF COBARGO-Utilized the sprint lane in the home straight.

POST LAZARUS- Restrained at the start. Locked wheels with another runner racing into the back straight and raced roughly and broke gait as a result. Held up for a clear run over the vital stages of the event.

SPORT WATCHER- Out of position at the start. Will continue out of the draw in future mobile start events.

ZEUS IMMORTAL-Failed to circle at the start. Will continue out of the draw. Raced outside the leader during the event. Stewards questioned the connections in relation to the improved winning performance of the gelding. Connections advised that the gelding raced greenly at previous starts and had trailed well during the week and is getting better with each run. Connections further advised with a gear adjustment and change they expected an improved performance. Stewards noted the comments for future reference.

RACE 4  –  LADBROKES EASY FORM PACE–  2090m  Mobile

NOBLEZZZ ADVICE- Broke in the early part of the score up. Showed gate speed to lead the event.

JAY MILLER- Racing into the front straight was pulled up and was retired from the event when the spreader broke. The spreader was inspected and was found to be of good quality.

MY ULTIMATE JACKO- Restrained at the start.

WHATTA GOOD REASON- Showed gate speed to sit outside the leader. Obtained a trail in the middle stages of the event. Held up for a clear run over the concluding stages.

ELENNA- Delayed the start due to a gear adjustment. Showed gate speed and was caught wide in the early stages before progressing forward and sitting outside the leader.

ROCK ON PLAYBOY-Utilized the sprint lane over the concluding stages.

RACE 5 –  JAROD TODD FOUNDATION PACE–  2090m  Mobile

MIKISPUR- Showed gate speed. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

ONEHANDONEBOUN- Showed gate speed to lead the event.

MAGIC PEBBLES-Showed gate speed to sit outside the leader.

ROYAL REACTOR- Restrained at the start. Raced roughly in the back straight on the final occasion.

JACK JAMES- Restrained at the start. Left a trailing position to three wide in a trail entering back straight on the final occasion.

GRINNING AGAIN NZ- Restrained after the start.

SNEAKY PEAK- Caught racing wide in the early stages and pulled hard despite efforts from the driver. Then commenced to restrain to the rear before progressing forward.

TWO SOCK CREEK NZ- Left a trailing position entering the back straight on the final occasion to race three wide.

RACE 6  –  RACING CONNECT PACE–  2090m  Mobile

ALEXIS ROCKET NZ -Broke in the early part of the score up. Showed gate speed.

REMEMBER ME NOW NZ – Showed gate speed to lead the event. Tended to race pull hard throughout. Driver fined under provisions of Rule 170 (4) (b).

WATCH IT HAPPEN – Stewards queried the improved performance.

ROCKS ROY- Restrained at the start.

SCRUB BASHER- Restrained at the start. Hung inwards and contacted pegs off the front straight on the first occasion.

SHAUN TO THE MAX- Left a trailing position to race three wide in the middle stages to sit outside the leader.

FURY DAN- Placed in restricted room on the first turn.

Stewards questioned Driver Nathan Ford (REMEMBER ME NOW NZ) into reasons why in the home straight for the run to the finish, he dropped his right foot, from the foot peg and placed it in the immediate vicinity of the hind legs of the horse he was driving.

After taking evidence from Nathan Ford and viewing the official patrol films and stewards acting on their own observations issued a charge under provisions of rule 170 (4) (b):

The particulars of the charge were that over the concluding stages Nathan Ford Dropped his right foot from the sulky peg and placed it in the vicinity of the hind leg of REMEMBER ME NOW NZ.

Driver Nathan Ford was found guilty of the charge and fined a sum of $500.00 with $250.00 suspended for a period of 12 months being that he doesn’t offend under this rule during this time.

Stewards questioned drivers Tiarna Ford (SCRUB BASHER) Olivia Weidenbach (FURY DAN) and Mitch Ford (LALIBELA NZ) along with Neville Webberley (Claiming drivers advocate) into reasons why Tiarna Ford was placed in restricted racing room, and as a result raced inside several marker pegs racing towards the back straight on the first occasion. After taking evidence from all drivers and viewing the official patrol films and acting on their own observations it was established that LALIBELA was racing on the back of I WANT IT ALL (Dylan Ford) who shifted in at this point resulting in LALIBELA NZ following downwards placing SCRUB BASHER and FURY DAN in restricted room. As a result of this incident SCRUB BASHER raced inside several marker pegs. Stewards gave driver Mitch Ford the benefit of doubt on this occasion on the evidence and circumstances and reminded him of his obligations in similar circumstances.

RACE 7 – TASMANIAN HORSE TRANSPORT PACE–  1609m  Mobile

FLO JO CARVALHO- Showed gate speed to lead the event.

STRAWBERRY BLING- Showed gate speed.

AREYAWATCHINGTHIS- Restrained at the start.

SAPPHIRE GAMBLER- Showed gate speed.

BRIAN WHO- Restrained at the start.

KIAVINO STRIDE- Showed gate speed and was caught wide in the early stages and progressed forward to race outside the leader.
