RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE - 1720metres

RUBY BABY NZ - Pre-race blood sample.

MISTER MANAGER - Post-race swab sample.

RACE 2 – REGIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK PACE – 2120metres

SCRUFFY MOTO - Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

SHEZ A WARRIOR - Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

BETTING RANGER - Post-race swab sample.

TENEACHWAY - Approaching the 1000 metres hung out and broke. In view of the gelding’s record it will be stood down until it can complete one satisfactory trial.

THE MISSING SOCK - Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 3 –  WARATAH HEAT – 1720metres

BOLD COWBOY - Galloped out at the start. A warning was issued.

SATELLITE SIMBA - Post-race swab samples.

TAMANISHA TERROR - Checked after the start when BOLD COWBOY broke.

GWYNETH P NZ - Stewards questioned Driver B. Medlyn was questioned in relation to the driving tactics adopted on the mare during the middle stages of the event. B. Medlyn stated that due to the steady early tempo he elected to move three wide near the 1000 metres as he was of the opinion KERPAT JOY was looking for cover however once improving three wide that runner then proceeded forward and therefore he was obliged to race three wide for the remainder of the event. B. Medlyn further added that the mare had a tendency to hang in throughout the event. Stewards noted the comments.

RACE 4 –  GALLAGHER PACE – 1720metres

PEAKSART - Pre-race blood sample.

HARLEY JAMES - Gave ground over the final 400 metres.

DON HESTON - Post-race swab sample.

LITTLE POPCORN - Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

KARINYA MAX - Contacted its own sulky during the running of the event.

RACE 5 – SHIRE BAR & GRILL PACE – 1720metres

TWISTED MISTRESS - Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.

BETTOR KEEP ROCKING NZ - Post-race swab samples.

VAN NIEKERK NZ - Contacted its own sulky and over-raced during the event. Gave ground from the 500 metres.

ROLL THE SEVEN - Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight. Stewards questioned Driver I. Ross in regards to the driving tactics adopted rounding the final turn and in particular the reasons for shifting wider which resulted in the gelding being held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight. I. Ross stated that approaching the home turn she was of the opinion. That TWISTED MISTRESS was under pressure and therefore elected to shift wider to obtain clear running. I. Ross further added that once committed to shifting wider TWISTED MISTRESS then shifted outwards and therefore she was unable to obtain clear running over the final 200 metres. Stewards noted the comments.

BARBARADAWNSHANNON - Pre-race blood sample. Driver A. Turnbull was cautioned for applying her whip in an excessive manner over the final 200 metres.

RACE 6 – ZOO FM PACE – 1720metres

DUSTY JACK - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

PYEKAKARIKI - Near the 900 metres locked wheels and broke. The gelding was placed on its last chance to race truly.

ROCKNROLL RAMBO - Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.

LETSTACOBOUTIT - Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start.

RACE 7 – CLUB DUBB0 PACE – 1720Metres

IAMNOPET - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

JILLIBY GIZMO - Trainer J. Turnbull was fined $100 under Rule 273(6)(a) for presenting the gelding with the incorrect saddlecloth number.

DOUBLE MACH - Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 8 – BLUES MEATS PACE – 1720metres

SAUCEY TOOTH - Pre-race blood sample.

LUCKY TERROR - Post-race swab sample.

SHEZ A PUNTER - Gave ground over the final 400 meters. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

MISS PENDLE HILL - Will now be re-included in the mobile barrier draw.
