RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1720 metres
GROSSO NASO– Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
COOL DUDE JOEY– Caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1400 metres. Unable to secure clear running in the latter stages of the home straight.
MISSDEHEIR– Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1450 metres.
KATLAS DREAM– Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
TEARIN UP THE SAND– Improved three wide from the 1350 metres until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres. Will now be re included into the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 2 – CLUB DUBBO – GARRARDS TROPHY FINAL – 1720 metres
MOHAWK PARK– Became unbalanced and galloped during the score up on the first occasion and caused a false start for which a warning was issued. Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event to be beaten 40.3 metres and finished in last position.
HALL CASH– Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.
STUDLEIGH STARLITE– Stewards cautioned Driver J Davis in relation to his movement down the track as runners rounded the first turn in that when crossing REASON TO PARTY, he did so with minimal clearance. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 36.4 metres and finished in 8th position. Mr Davis explained the mare was racing up in grade in tonight’s event and noted he had been surprised with the mare’s most recent form. Mr Davis added the fast mile rate when racing outside the leader had not suited the mare in tonight’s event. Stewards noted his comments. Had its offside sulky wheel contacted passing the 450 metres when HALL MOST AN ANGEL improved onto wheel when hanging in.
HALL MOST AN ANGEL– Hung in between the 600 metres and 450 metres and contacted the sulky wheel of STUDLIGH STARLITE when that runner commenced to give ground. Stewards issued a warning against HALL MOST AN ANGEL for its racing manners in the back straight on the final occasion.
JUNGLE BEAUTY– Declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 9.42am.
TULHURST ANGEL– Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide form the 700 metres to race without cover for the remainder of the event.
RACE 3 – SHIRE BAR & GRILL DUBBO PACE – 1720 metres
VAMOS– Post-race swab sample.
MAJOR STATEMENT– Over raced throughout the event.
TAKE OUT– Raced roughly after the start. Caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres. Gave ground from the 500 metres to be beaten 60.8 metres and finished in last position. Driver I Ross explained the gelding hadn’t travelled well to the races and felt the gelding raced flat. In view of the gelding’s disappointing performance TAKE OUT was stood down until it completes one requalifying trial.
UNCLE CRAIGO– Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion.
HAPPY REG– Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 4 – PETER LEW MEMORIAL – 2120 metres
TULHURST TIMMY– Post-race swab sample.
BARRY LIMBO– Over raced when positioned outside the leader throughout the event. Driver P Betts pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) in that in the home straight on the final occasion she has applied her whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion. Driver P Betts was fined $200.
LUCKY PUNT– Over raced throughout the event.
SNAKESKIN– Raced three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain a position in the running line passing the 1650 metres.
PRINCESS REMI– Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 5 – LOCHEND STUD RED OCHRE FILLIES AND MARES CLASSIC (LISTED CLASSIC) – 2120 metres
SHEZ SWEET LOUISE NZ– Post-race swab sample.
WORKS FOR ME NZ– Raced three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1600 metres.
IM DESIRABLE– Pre-race blood sample.
HEAVENLY HOLLY– Raced three wide with a trail from the 900 metres.
MYRA DAWN– Lost its saddle cloth rounding the first turn on the first occasion. In not taking any action Stewards noted the significant rainfall during this event. Improved three wide from the 900 metres to race without cover for the remainder of the event.
MAJOR ENVY NZ– Improved three wide from the 1400 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.
RACE 6 – QUAMBYS STAYERS CUP – 2525 metres
WARRAWEE CRUZIN– Raced roughly after the start. Raced roughly rounding the first turn.
MAMMALS ALIBI– Over raced when positioned outside the leader. Stewards questioned Driver J Turnbull in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance of the gelding ($6) when giving ground from the 600 metres to be beaten 49.8 metres and finishing in last position. Mr Turnbull explained he was disappointed in the gelding’s performance in tonight’s event however noted the gelding was not suited when racing outside the leader. Mr Turnbull explained it was the intention of connections to now send the gelding for a spell A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
ROGUE BLING– Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
OUR SUNSET DELIGHT– Improved three wide from the 1200 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 950 metres.
HUTA NZ– Hampered between the 600 metres and the 500 metres behind the weakening MAMMALS ALIBI.
CAULONIA COURAGE– Improved three wide from the 1000 metres and raced without cover for the remainder of the event.
IAM THE CAPTAIN– Improved three wide with a trail from the 1000 metres.
RACE 7 – DAVID WRIGLEY APPRECIATION DUBBO PACE – 1720 metres
JILLIBY TSUNAMI– Gave ground shortly after entering the home straight on the final occasion.
SHES NO HONEY– Caught racing three wide in the early stages before becoming unbalanced and galloping for which the filly was stood down until it completes one requalifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
A LIL BIT OF LOVE– Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing four wide in the early stages and was checked when avoiding the galloping SHES NO HONEY before improving three wide until obtaining the lead approaching the 1200 metres. Driver I Ross was cautioned in relation to her foot appearing to drop below the sulky rest whilst releasing deafeners. Post-race swab sample. Post-race swab sample.
ALLEGRETTO– Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
BORROWED TIME– Improved three wide from the 1200 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.
RACE 8 – GALLAGHER HUB OF THE WEST 2YO PACE – 1720 metres
KINGSTON RAINBOW– Galloped out at the start for which a warning was issued.
THE SAMURAI– Post-race swab sample.
LADY DELORES– Pre-race blood sample.
GOOD CHAT– Hampered after the start when avoiding the galloping KINGSTON RAINBOW.
ROSIES BOY– Hampered by DA VINCENT whilst being caught behind that runner whilst weakening rounding the final turn.
WEREGOINGTOGETCHA– Hampered behind the weakening DA VINCENT rounding the final turn.
DA VINCENT– Hung in and raced roughly rounding the final turn before giving ground for which a warning was issued. Improved three wide from the 800 metres and raced without cover for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
DOING– Improved three wide with a trail from the 800 metres. Hampered when being taken back and avoiding DA VINCENT which was weakening around the final turn.
RACE 9 – ZOOFM PACE – 1720 metres
JACKS GAMBLE– Hung out after the start for which a warning was issued. Hung out in the home straight on the final occasion whilst under pressure for which a warning was issued.
HILLS VILLE– Broke after the start for which the gelding will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
BRONX– Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1400 metres. Post-race swab sample.
LETSTACOBOUTIT– Raced three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.
ROCKIN SWEET– Improved three wide from the 1300 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.
