The start time of this event was amended to 1.45pm.
MOJITO MADNESS – driver Zac Phillips cautioned for directing or allowing the gelding to race inside the last marker peg prior to the sprint lane becoming available. Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that any advantage gained cancelled the margin between the relevant placings of a short half-head and the all clear was given on the judge’s numbers.
STRZELECKI SUN – slow to score-up, out of position when start effected; continued exclusion from future mobile start events. Raced roughly under pressure over the concluding stages.

The start time of this event was amended to 2.09pm.
UBETTA KNOT – Tightened for racing room by ANOTHER NIEN (Ewa Justice) shortly after the start and raced roughly as a consequence. Held up and no clear run rounding home turn final occasion; utilized sprint lane thereafter.

PETITE FOUR – fractious and reared before the start then galloped through middle part of the score-up’ caused a false start when progressing through to position on the gate, inconveniencing OPRAH DOULE YOU who was then unable to fulfil her rightful position in gate nine. DEFT TOUCH – held up and no clear run rounding home turn final occasion.
George Schembri, driver of KITCH MACRAY was found guilty of a charge under AHRR168(1)(a) which reads “a person shall not before, during or after a race driver in a manner which in the opinion of Stewards is careless” with the particulars of the charge being that “in the preliminary and prior to the start being effected, Mr Schembri failed to have sufficient awareness of the two drivers ahead of himself making heavy contact with the sulky of TOPHUT JOHNNY (Chris Alford), dislodging both drivers as a result; actions in the opinion of Stewards were careless”. In considering penalty Stewards considered Mr Schembri’s not guilty plea, degree of carelessness which was deemed to be in the high-range with two drivers being dislodged and the potential of greater ramifications from a safety perspective, given the nature of the incident, recent record under this rule which included a suspension in July of 2024, driving frequency, personal circumstances and suspended Mr Schembri’s license to drive for a period of 14 days. Mr Schembri was advised of his appeal rights.
