RACE 1 – EXQUISITE JEWELLERS KIPPAX TROTTERS MOBILE – 1770 metres
MIDNIGHT SECRET– Passing the 300 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.
KENNYWOULD– Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride shortly after the start. A warning was issued. Passing the 1500 metres the chin rest became detached from the gelding.
TARENTAISE– Post-race swab sample.
KENETURIO– Trainer/Driver G Forrest stated the mare failed to trot comfortably throughout the event. as a result raced in a rearward position for the majority of the race to finish in 10th and last position beaten 287.8 metres. KENETURIO will be stood down one trial prior to racing. A post-raced veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
PHARISEE– Inconvenienced shortly after the start. When negotiating the first turn had a tendency to hang in and commenced to pace, became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.
RACE 2 – ACT TYREPOWER BELCONNEN PACE – 1770 metres
LOGAN DREAM– Pre-race blood sample.
CAPTAIN OF SPEED– Post-race swab sample.
WHEN TO FOLDEM– Had a tendency to over race throughout the event.
HIJACK NZ– Became unbalanced and broke stride at the 1500 metres and again at the 400 metres. Considering it was only the gelding’s second race start HIJACK NZ will be required to requalify on one occasion.
RACE 3 – ALLAN AND SANDRA SMITH PACE – 1770 metres
REIGN MAKER– Pre-race blood sample.
RUM DELIGHT NZ– A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.
MAJOR MUCHA– Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – AV STONE MARBLE & GRANITE PACE – 1770 metres
PARK RUN– A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.
JACKS UP– Post-race swab sample.
WHY NOT SURF– Pre-race blood sample.
PADDY MACH– Held up for clear racing room until the final 150 metres. Driver J Locke was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) when applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion he has done so with more than a wrist flicking motion.
BETTOR BE LUCKY- A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.
MISS BALLET– Passing the 1000 metres had a tendency to hang in and contact marker pegs.
RACE 5 – TAB.COM.AU PACE – 2170 metres
HERE COMES BOBBY– Post-race swab sample.
ARK ALERT– An inquiry was adjourned into an incident that may have occurred at the 1800 metres. Driver T Osmond and Driver D Murphy will be spoken to at a later date.
SPIRIT AND SOUL NZ– Pre-race blood sample.
OUR GEORGE BOSTON– An inquiry was adjourned into an incident that may have occurred at the 1800 metres. Driver D Murphy and Driver T Osmond will be spoken to at a later date.
RACE 6 – GLEN MIA (ACT) SADDLERY PACE – 1770 metres
TUFFASOLDBOOTS– Pre-race blood sample. Checked shortly after the start when SHE WHO DARES broke stride.
SHE WHO DARES– Broke stride shortly after the start. A warning was issued.
CAN CAN DANCER– Tired over the final 500 metres after racing outside the lead to finish in 10th and last position beaten 52.3 metres. The mare will be required to requalify on one occasion. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
BULLI BELLE– Checked after the start when trailing SHE WHO DARES.
WHERE BACK– Inconvenienced shortly after the start when BULLI BELLE had shifted out after being checked. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 7 – OSKAR MEMORIALS PACE – 1770 metres
MAYWYNS LA NINA– Driver T Day allowed his right foot to lower from the sulky rest when attempting to pull the sliding blinds down at the 200 metres. Mr Day was advised to have his sulky set up in a manner which doesn’t allow his feet to drop from the sulky rest when activating gear. Post-race swab sample.
SPORTY BANYULA– Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 8 – LONSDALE AUTO ELECTRICS PACE – 1770 metres
IRISH SPEED– At the request of connections a pre-race warm up was approved.
MANKIND– Declared a late scratching as a result of breaking in the score up on two occasions and causing two false starts. MANKIND will be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts and must also requalify on one occasion.
TROUBLE IN HEAVEN– Post-race swab sample.
MACH NINE– Pre-race blood sample. Held up for clear racing room until the final 100 metres.
