RACE 1 – BUNBURY TROTTING CLUB PINK RIBBON FUNDRAISER 2024 PACE (1609MS)
TRUNKEY MON STAR (C Playle) – Broke gait leaving the back straight on the final occasion. The gelding will be stood down from racing for thirteen days and until the completion of two satisfactory requalifying trials.
RACE 2 – ALL RUBBER 2YO WESTBRED PACE (2100MS)
This race was delayed four minutes due to a false start.
SHES ALL GO (L Harper) - Broke gait during the score up causing a false start on the first occasion. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile events.
General: Driver A Markham (RAVENOUS ROMEO) was fined $200 under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking action.
RACE 3 – YOUR DAY WITH NAY MARRIAGE CELEBRANT PACE (1609MS)
FIREPLAY (A Markham) - Broke gait in the score up. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile events.
RACE 4 – THANK YOU KIM AND DOT PACE (2100MS)
MAJOR MANHATTAN (H Charles) - Trainer L Watson expressed disappointment with the performance and advised she will monitor the gelding’s recovery and report any abnormalities. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer L Watson advised she will monitor the gelding’s recovery and report any adverse findings.
RACE 5 – THE FAY MCLEOD PACE (1609MS)
This race was delayed five minutes due to the false start.
IMAHERO (D Miller) - Broke gait during the score up on the first occasion resulting in a false start being declared. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile events.
RECOVER LOVER (L Harper) - Fractious in the score up on the first occasion and was unable to be in position prior to the false start being effected.
RACE 6 – CROSSLANDS NEWSAGENCY 3YO WESTBRED PACE (1609MS)
ROLLING CLASS (A Cortopassi) - Broke gait leaving the back straight on the first occasion. The gelding will be stood down from racing for six days and until the completion of a satisfactory requalifying trial.
General: Driver A Markham (IDEAL INTEREST) pleaded guilty to a charge under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking motion and was suspended from driving in races for a period of 7 days to commence at midnight on Friday 25 October 2024 and to expire at midnight 1 November 2024.
Driver L Harper (AMARETTO ANGEL) was reprimanded under HR156(2)(a) for using her whip in more than a flicking motion.
RACE 7 – CAPEL GOLF COURSE PACE (2100MS)
General: Driver L Steere (SONGSTER) was fined $200 under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking action.
Driver AJ Markham (PAY HOMAGE) was reprimanded under HR156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking action.
