Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
RACE 1 – THOMPSON SURVEYORS PACE (1609MS)
ALWAYS BE TEDDY (E Suvaljko) – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight.
CHALKY WHITE (C Wallrodt) – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight.
RACE 2 – PETER BARBETTI PACE (1608MS)
CLASSNSMART (S Suvaljko) – Driver S Suvaljko was fined $50 under the provisions of rule 162(1)(i) for failing to come into position by the Candy Pole marker.
STEP IT UP (T Wheeler) – Driver T Wheeler was fined $50 under the provisions of rule 162(1)(i) for failing to come into position by the Candy Pole marker.
SWEET SASSYMOLASSY (H Charles) – Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected. A warning was placed on the mare’s Mobile Barrier starting manners. Inconvenienced behind a tiring runner racing in the back straight on the final occasion.
CAPITOL DAWN (J Suvaljko) – Began to give ground from the vicinity of the 600m. A warning was placed on the mare’s racing performance.
RAPTOR RAIDER (A De Campo) – Placed back in the draw for future Mobile Barrier events.
RACE 3 – BUNBURY SHOW PACE (2100MS)
KOPPER KOTE (S McDonald) – Galloped out when the start was effected. Trainer S De Campo was advised the gelding will be placed outside the draw in future Mobile Barrier events.
MAJOR CORRIDA (A De Campo) – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the entire to have bled from the off-side nostril. Trainer A De Campo was advised the entire will be stood down from racing for 6 days and until the completion of 1 re-qualifying trial.
CATCH THE RED EYE (A Markham) – Gave ground over the concluding stages after racing in the lead of the one wide line for the majority of the event. A warning was placed on the mare’s racing performance.
GRAPELLIES BOY (T Wheeler) – Inconvenienced after the start was effected.
STIRUP IRON JACK (A Suvaljko) – Fractious during the early stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. Will continue to be drawn wide in future Mobile Barrier events.
RACE 4 – BUTTERFLY BILLAGE PACE (2100MS)
SUKHOVEY WINDSTORM (B Abbot) – Inconvenienced behind a tiring runner racing into the home straight on the final occasion.
KEAYANG YUKON (S Suvaljko) – Inconvenienced behind a tiring runner racing out of the back straight on the final occasion.
IM ROCKIN ROD (J Justins) – Inconvenienced behind a galloping runner racing in the early stages of the home straight.
UNDER THE STARZZZ (C Voak) – Raced roughly racing in the back straight on the first occasion. A warning was placed on the entire’s racing manners.
BONSCO CIRCUS (R Warwick) – Broke gait racing into the front straight on the final occasion. Trainer J McLaughlin was advised the entire will be stood down from racing for 6 days and until the successful completion of 1 re-qualifying trial.
RACE 5 – BUNBURY FESTIVAL PACE (2569MS)
IDEAL SECRET (T Lynn) – Gave ground over the concluding stages. A warning was placed on the gelding’s racing performance.
RACE 6 – #LOVEBUNBURY PACE (2100MS)
General: This event commenced approximately 5 minutes after the scheduled starting time due to FORTY SEVEN BLUE (T Wheeler) having to leave the track prior to the start for farrier attention after a plate became loose in the preliminary.
CAPPY THE FIREY (D Egerton-Green) – Gave ground over the concluding stages.
ADDA LUCKY BOY (J Justins) – Had difficulty securing clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
AITCH ROCKS (A Cortopassi) – Raced greenly throughout the event and gave ground over the concluding stages.
LITTLEALBIETROTTER (H Charles) – Broke gait shortly after the start of the event. Trainer G Waters was advised the entire will be placed outside the draw in future Mobile Barrier events.
FORTY SEVEN BLUE (T Wheeler) – Raced roughly racing out of the back straight on the first occasion.
RACE 7 – TABTOUCH COMMUNITY PACE (1609MS)
General: This event commenced approximately 2 minutes after the scheduled starting time due to the delay in the previous event.
PERFECT MOVE (M Miller) – Hung inwards and broke gait racing towards the end of the back straight on the first occasion. Pulled hard during the early and middle stages. Trainer D Miller was advised the colt will be stood down from racing for 6 days and until such time as the successful completion of 1 re-qualifying trial.
HURRICANEHOPE (S Steele) – Inconvenienced between runners during the score up and failed to come fully into position at the start as a consequence.
MALDAZA (T Wheeler) – Unable to come into position by start despite the efforts of the driver. Trainer D Miller was advised the colt will be placed outside the draw for future Mobile Barrier events.
