Trainers with multiple horses engaged in any given race were questioned as to the intended driving tactics to be adopted.
RACE 1 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE (1650 MS)
HES NO ROMEO NZ – Withstood an early challenge for the lead from MY ULTIMATE BILLY NZ.
WATTLEBANK ARNIE NZ – Was held up for clear running entering the home straight before utilising the sprint lane.
HARRYHOO – After being caught wide in the early stages, was restrained to the rear of the field.
MY ULTIMATE BILLY NZ – Hung out throughout the score-up. Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead in the early stages before being restraining into a position.
PESCI – Raced three wide without cover from the 1400 metre mark before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1200 metre mark. Then began to over-race once cover was obtained approaching the 1100 metre mark.
IMA TERMINATOR – Raced three wide without cover from the start before obtaining a trail approaching the 1400 metre mark, then progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1100 metre mark. Was held up for clear racing room in the home straight and was not fully tested to the finish.
MADIGAN – Utilised the sprint lane in the home straight.
DESSIE GEE – Raced three wide with cover from the 1300 metre mark before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1000 metre mark.
RACE 2 – NUTRIEN AG SOLUTIONS BENDIGO PACE (2150 MS)
FINAL BOW – Shifted out when placed under pressure in the home straight, the offside tire was contacted by MYRTLE MAY approaching the 50 metre mark resulting in that runner breaking gait.
BETTER BLUE BOYS – After being caught wide in the early stages, was restrained to the rear of the field.
SWISS LIGHTNING – Raced three wide without cover from the start before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1700 metre mark.
REDBANK MOLLY – After being caught wide in the early stages, was restrained to the rear of the field. Had to be steadied and raced roughly approaching the 300 metre mark when I OF THE HURRIKANE was checked after IMPEACHED hung in, raced roughly and then broke gait after making contact with the offside sulky wheel of ASHANTE PRINCE. As a result, I OF THE HURRIKANE also broke gait.
ASHANTE PRINCE – Hung out approaching the 400 metre mark and had its offside sulky wheel contacted by IMPEACHED. IMPEACHED then made further contact with the offside sulky wheel approaching the 300 metre mark and broke gait.
IMPEACHED – Approaching the 400 metre mark, hung in and contacted the offside sulky wheel of ASHANTE PRINCE and raced roughly, when that runner hung out at that stage. IMPEACHED was then placed in restricted room approaching the 300 metre mark and hung in again, resulting in IMPEACHED making further contact with the offside sulky wheel of ASHANTE PRINCE before racing roughly and breaking gait. IMPEACHED’s actions contributed to I OF THE HURRIKANE being checked and breaking gait. A last chance to race truly was placed against the gelding.
I OF THE HURRIKANE – Approaching the 300 metre mark had to be steadied when IMPEACHED hung in, raced roughly and broke gait after contacting the offside sulky wheel of ASHANTE PRINCE. As a consequence of this chain of events, I OF THE HURRIKANE was checked and broke gait.
ASMILEANDAWINX – Raced three wide without cover from the 1400 metre mark, progressing forward to race outside the lead approaching the 1200 metre mark, then obtained cover approaching the 1000 metre mark.
MYRTLE MAY – Raced three wide with cover from the 1400 metre mark, then three wide without cover from the 1200 metre mark before progressing forward to race outside the lead approaching the 1000 metre mark.
SHAQ – Due to having competed in more than 200 lifetime races and in accordance with HRV policy was examined by the veterinarian before and after the race which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
RACE 3 – STONEMANS VILLAGE IGA & LIQUOR STRATHDALE PACE (1650 MS)
ONECROWDWDHOUR – Surrendered the lead to ATOMIC GLORY approaching the 1300 metre mark.
GO GEORGE GO – Trainer Glenn Bull was cautioned for presenting GO GEORGE GO late to the parade ring.
ATOMIC GLORY – Raced three wide without cover from the start before progressing forward to obtain the lead approaching the 1300 metre mark. Surrendered the lead to INTERPRETATION approaching the 1000 metre mark.
HOME AND DRY NZ – Raced four wide without cover from the start, then three wide without cover from the 1300 metre mark before progressing forward to race outside the lead approaching the 1000 metre mark.
MIDNIGHT MOJO – Was held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
MISS JOPLIN – The offside sulky wheel was contacted by AMADA VILLMA approaching the 1000 metre mark, resulting in a flat tyre. This occurred when AMADA VILLMA was over-racing and the tempo of the race had eased slightly.
AMADA VILLMA – Approaching the 1000 metre mark contacted the offside sulky wheel of MISS JOPLIN, resulting in that runner sustaining a flat tyre. This occurred when AMADA VILLMA was over-racing as the tempo of the race eased slightly.
FEEL THE REIGN – Due to having competed in more than 200 lifetime races and in accordance with HRV policy was examined by the veterinarian before and after the race which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Was held up for clear running entering the home straight before utilising the sprint lane.
INTERPRETATION – Raced three wide without cover from the start before progressing forward to obtain the lead approaching the 1000 metre mark.
RACE 4 – REVOLVE PRINT PACE (2150 MS)
THE DEMOCRAT – Due to having competed in more than 200 lifetime races and in accordance with HRV policy was examined by the veterinarian before and after the race which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
LILNOVA – Had to be steadied approaching the 400 metre mark when JOEYS HANGOVER broke gait free of interference.
KIDWITHAGRIN – Surrendered the lead to JOEYS HANGOVER approaching the 1300 metre mark.
FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT – Due to having competed in more than 200 lifetime races and in accordance with HRV policy was examined by the veterinarian before and after the race which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
JOEYS HANGOVER – Due to having competed in more than 200 lifetime races and in accordance with HRV policy was examined by the veterinarian before and after the race which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Raced three wide without cover from the start before progressing forward to obtain the lead approaching the 1800 metre mark. The gelding then surrendered the lead to TASTE IT approaching the 1700 metre mark. Raced roughly then broke gait free of interference approaching the 400 metre mark. The gelding was subsequently stood down from racing until the completion of one (1) satisfactory trial.
TASTE IT – Raced three wide with cover from the start before progressing forward to obtain the lead approaching the 1700 metre mark. The mare then surrendered the lead to PRINCESS ARNA approaching the 1000 metre mark.
DI ANGELO – Had to be steadied approaching the 1000 metre when the tempo of the race slackened.
PRINCESS ARNA – Broke gait free of interference in the early stages of the score-up and was out of position when the start was initiated. As a result, PRINCESS ARNA will continue to be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start races. Raced three wide without cover from the 1300 metre mark before progressing forward to obtain the lead approaching the 1000 metre mark.
RACE 5 – BENDIGO LOCKSMITHS PACE (1650 MS)
DIEING FEAR – Was held up for clear running entering the home straight before utilising the sprint lane.
OWEN THE SAINT – Had to be steadied approaching the 1300 metre mark when SPORTS NARRATOR dropped the tempo of the race.
SPORTS NARRATOR – Driver Tristan Larsen was cautioned for easing the pace approaching the 1300 metre mark, causing a trailing runner to be steadied. Was held up for clear running entering the home straight.
MAD PUNTA – Raced three wide without cover from the start before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1200 metre mark.
MAJOR BYE – Over-raced throughout the race. Raced roughly under pressure and commenced to tire leaving the 700 metre mark to be beaten 68.6 metres. A warning was placed against the colt for its racing manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Driver Anthony Butt reported that he felt the colt’s tendency to over-race at various stages may have contributed to tonight’s performance.
RACE 6 – ALDEBARAN PARK TROT (1650 MS)
DANCING SPIDER – Surrendered the lead to JOE LOU approaching the 1300 metre mark. Commenced to tire leaving the 400m mark and was beaten 55.5 metres. A warning was placed against the mare.
JOE LOU – Worked forward from the start before progressing to obtain the lead approaching the 1300 metre mark. Surrendered the lead to KISS AT MIDNIGHT approaching the 1100 metre mark. Commenced to tire leaving the 400m mark and was beaten 40.3 metres.
SPANISH RIZARDO – Broke gait free of interference approaching the 150 metre mark. A warning was placed against the mare.
TELLA SHES DREAMIN – Broke gait free of interference after the start and trailed the field. As a result, TELLA SHES DREAMIN will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start races.
FREMARKS PEGGY – Raced three wide without cover from the 800 metre mark, then broke gait free of interference approaching the 400 metre mark, when placed under pressure. A warning was placed against the mare.
KISS AT MIDNIGHT – Broke gait free of interference approaching the 100 metre mark, when placed under pressure. The filly was subsequently stood down from racing until the completion of one (1) satisfactory trial.
MIDNITE MUSCLE – Raced three wide without cover from the start before being restrained into a position in the running line approaching the 1300 metre mark.
QUIRKY CHARACTER – Broke gait free of interference in the early stages of the score-up and was out of position when the start was initiated. As a result, QUIRKY CHARACTER will continue to be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start races. Raced three wide without cover from the 1000 metre mark before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 900 metre mark. Broke gait free of interference approaching the 100 metre mark, when placed under pressure and cast a plate. A warning was placed against the gelding.
KYVALLEY JETSTREAM NZ – Had to be steadied and broke gait after the start when TELLA SHES DREAMIN broke gait free of interference after the start. Raced three wide without cover from the 800 metre mark.
RACE 7 – BENDIGO SKI BOAT CENTRE 4YO & OLDER MAIDEN PACE (1650 MS)
SWEET FACE – Raced three wide without cover from the start before being restrained to the rear of the field approaching the 1000 metre mark. Commenced to tire leaving the 400m mark and was beaten 62.4 metres. A warning was placed against the gelding.
MYLA GIRL – Commenced to tire leaving the 500m mark and was beaten 108.3 metres. The mare was subsequently stood down from racing until the completion of one (1) satisfactory trial.
FELLINI – Commenced to tire leaving the 400m mark and was beaten 53.5 metres. A warning was placed against the mare.
DYGANALI – Was held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
RACE 8 – GOLD CENTRAL VICTORIA TROT (2150 MS)
KOTA BHARU – Commenced to tire leaving the 500m mark and was beaten 98.5 metres. A last chance to race competitively was placed against the gelding.
PRO HIBITION – Broke gait free of interference in the early stages of the score-up and was out of position when the start was initiated. As a result, PRO HIBITION will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start races. Was held up for clear running entering the home straight before utilising the sprint lane.
SINGARA TED – Driver Ashley Ainsworth was fined $200.00 AHHR 156 (2)(a) A driver shall only apply the whip and/or the rein in a wrist only flicking motion whilst holding a rein in each hand with the tip of the whip pointed forward in an action which does not engage the shoulder.
BROTHER MOUNTAIN – Raced three wide without cover from the 1200 metre mark before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1000 metre mark.
RACE 9 – APCO SERVICE STATIONS STRATHDALE & KANGAROO FLAT VICBRED VOUCHER PACE (2150 MS)
DIEING ART – Over-raced throughout the race.
RUBY WINGATE – Was held up for clear racing room in the home straight and was not fully tested to the finish.
IM DUSTEE – Raced three wide with cover from the start, before progressing forward to race outside the leader approaching the 1800 metre mark. Due to the gelding being engaged to compete at Ballarat on Thursday, 20 November 2025, it was examined by the officiating veterinarian following the race, which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
TRIPLE ROCK SAINT NZ – Due to the gelding competing at Shepparton on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, it was examined by the officiating veterinarian before the race, which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Was held up for clear running entering the home straight.
