Shepparton 24 September 2024. Race 1.
Driver Jordan Leedham plead guilty to a charge under AHRR156(2)(a) for applying the whip to CAN FEEL THE FURY NZ with more than wrist-only flicking motion in an action which engaged the shoulder and elbow and displayed an overt amount of force on several occasions over the final 400m. In adopting this approach, Stewards considered Mr Leedham's recent record which contained a penalty under the same rule within the preceding 28 days, and issued a fine the sum of $400. Upon review of the replays, it was established that Can Feel The Fury NZ secured a run to the inside of Cotchinellie prior to contacting the marker peg.
