General: Stewards visited trainer’s stables leading up to tonight’s meeting.

Race 1 – LADBROKES TOP 2/3/4 BETTING BAND 5 PACE   1660m  Mobile

LUVBITE – Came together with STORYTELLER NZ on entering the home straight for the run to the finish when searching for clear running.

STORYTELLER NZ – Tended to race on the inside rein. Jostled with LUVBITE on entering the home straight for the run to the finish when that gelding was being manoeuvred in search of clear running.

ROLL UP NZ – Broke in the middle stages of the score-up, continuing to do so for some considerable distance, resulting in the gelding effectively taking no competitive part in the event. Will now be drawn on the extreme outside in future mobile start events.

Race 2 – 2025 PSP HD PEAK OF THE CREEK FINAL (LISTED CLASSIC)   1660m  Mobile

HUXTON NZ – Hung in on the final turn, tight on REDS ABLAZE

ARKIN WICKED – Checked in the back straight on the final occasion when DAISY DIANA NZ broke gait. Cast a off-fore plate during the run.

REDS ABLAZE – Hung in on the final turn, resulting in its sulky wheel striking a number of markers. In assessing, it was noted HUXTON NZ was racing tight to its outside at the time.

DAISY DIANA NZ – Fractious before ethe start, failing to participate in the pre-race circle. Placed on its last chance to race truly after breaking gait, free of interference leaving the 600.

RUBY RULES – Checked and raced rough in the back straight on the final occasion when DAISY DIANA NZ broke gait.

Race 3 – RACING & SPORTS.COM QUALIFYING PACE    2138m   Mobile

WORKS FOR ME NZ – Utilised the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

MULLUM HANK – Broke gait free of interference racing into the first turn and subsequently was placed on its last chance to race truly.

Race 4 – 2025 SOMERSET FARMS DARRELL ALEXANDER TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL (GROUP 2)     2647m   Stand

KODA DA MODA – Raced on the right rein late on the final turn, shifting in, resulting in its sulky wheel striking a marker

TAYLAD TO USE NZ – Stepped away well to lead the event.

IMPACT STRIDE – Badly held up as a result of HIDE AND SEEK giving ground

GET USED TO IT – Raced wide for the first 600 metres working forward to be positioned leading the one-out line.

MUFASA METRO NZ – Issued with a warning for breaking gait free of interference shortly after the start.

ZEALOUS SPUR NZ – Placed on its last chance in the draw for races conducted under standing start condition after breaking gait free of interference shortly after the start.

GOLDEN SUNSET – Issued with a warning after galloping away after the strands were released

HIDE AND SEEK Raced wide for the first 800 metres, working forward to be positioned leading the one-out line. Gave ground over the concluding stages, beaten in excess of 50 metres. The last start winner was subjected to a post-race Veterinary Examination which revealed a slow post-race recovery and was subsequently treated by QRIC’s course Veterinarian. On questioning, trainer S Price stated that she felt HIDE AND SEEK had failed to back up from recent runs. Further indicating she may have her private Veterinarian assess the gelding in the ensuing days. Trainer Price was instructed that should anything come to light which may help explain the disappointing performance, she was to contact QRIC Stewards at her earliest convenience. Due the treatment received HIDE AND SEEK was stood down from racing for five(5) days

Race 5 – 2025 GARRARDS QUEEN OF THE CREEK    1660m   Mobile

REELY NAUTI (Em 1) – Gained a start with the scratching of THE VICAR OF DIBLEY NZ

SWEET MIA NZ – Pulled hard in the score-up, and was eased wide near the 1300 when the pace of the race began to ease after positions were established. Worked forward quickly securing the lead leaving the 1100.

Race 6 – WOLF SIGNS BAND 4 / BAND 2 PACE    1660m   Mobile

MANILA PLAYBOY – A post-Race Veterinary Examination conformed Manilla Playboy had suffered a bleeding attack. As in accordance with AHR Rule 101, MANILLA PLAYBOY was stood down from racing for three(3) months, satisfactorily completing one(1) requalifying trial and before doing so

ROCKET CITY – Subjected to a precautionary Pre-Race Veterinary Examination after being a late scratching at Redcliffe 22 November 2025. On inspection no obvious issues were detected and as such, ROCKET CITY was passed fit to take its place in the event.

Race 7 – 2025 GARRARDS SUNSHINE SPRINT (GROUP 2)     1660m   Mobile

THE JANITOR NZ – Beaten for early gate speed before racing wide until positioned leading the one-out line approaching the 1100.

TURN IT UP – Badly held up on the final turn when WISPER A SECRET gave ground.

WISPER A SECRET – Raced wide from the start to be positioned leading the one-out line. Obtained cover approaching the 1100. Under pressure from the 500, giving ground to be beaten in excess of 30 metres.

Race 8 –TESKI CLEANING SERVICES BAND 5 PACE    1660m   Mobile

BACK TO BETOOTA – Failed to race as may have been expected based on its last two(2) runsas it has

WATCHMEDAZZLE – Raced leading the one-out line where it over-raced and pulled hard. This had a detrimental effect on the gelding as it left it under pressure and began to give ground leaving the 400.

CONGO LINE – Completed the event with a deflated near-side sulky tyre.

Race 9 – 2025 THE STELLAR SQUARE     2138m    Mobile

NORTHERN HEIGHTS – Wanted to shift up the track, particularly on leaving the turns.

General: Driver P McMullen was fined $100 for failing to drive NORTHERN HEIGHTS in the right direction (anti-clockwise) in its preliminary [AHR Rule 160(1)].

Race 10 – I H CAPITAL BAND 4 / BAND 2 PACE     1660m    Mobile

General: Stewards questioned driver A Garrard (CATSEYE BEACH) regarding his tactics in the early stages of the race. Driver Garrard informed Stewards that he attempted to lead but was held out by TIGER BAND WAGON (N Elkins), this left him leading the one-out line

General: Stewards intend to question driver N Elkins regarding the tactics she adopted on TIGER BAND WAGON as after leading was under pressure approaching the 300, giving ground to be beaten in excess of 20 metres
