Supplementary Report:

Stewards noted the intended tactics from trainers with multiple runners in the one race.

Stewards approved a late driving change on Roll One Over (Race 9) from Zac Chappenden to Shane Graham due to Zac Chappenden being unable to fulfil the engagement due to vehicle breakdown issues.

Race 1 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE  1660M

Stars Of America (Darrel Graham)– Gave ground badly over the final 400 metres after racing outside the leader.

Potter (Angus Garrard)– Broke gait after the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

Fancy Like Barbie (Chloe Butler)- Hung in during the event.

Race 2 - SKY RACING TROTTERS RATING HANDICAP  2138M

Mix It Up (Luke Whittaker)– Reared as the start was effected taking no competitive part in the race. The gelding was declared ineligible to start in standing start events until it trials satisfactorily.

Confiscated (Brendan Barns)– Paced out before breaking gait after the start. Retired from event leaving the 400 m. A subsequent examination by the Veterinarian found the gelding to be suffering Atrial Fibrillation. Confiscated was declared ineligible to start for 14 days and ECG and veterinary report must be provided plus the horse must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

Monaro Mako NZ (Narissa McMullen)– Broke gait after the start and in the early stages of the event. A warning was issued.

Hammer Son (Doug Lee)– Broke gait after the start. A warning was issued.

Jaccka Watch NZ (Shane Graham)– Checked in the early stages of the event when Monaro Mako NZ broke gait.

Everysecondcounts (Jonah Hutchinson)– Checked in the early stages of the event when Monaro Mako NZ broke gait. Broke gait near the 400m. A warning was issued.

Race 3 - LUNCHBOX LODGE PACE  1660M

Blue Shard (Brendan Barnes)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

The Casual Goose (Hayden Barnes)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Okinawa Beach (Dean Belford)– Driver suspended causing interference. Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

 Williewa Lightning (Joedy Whitaker)– Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner. Severely checked at the 1400 m.

General: The driver’s licence of Dean Belford (Okinawa Beach) was suspended for 17 days for causing interference to Williewa Lightning (Joedy Whitaker) on the first turn near the 1400 m. In determining penalty Stewards were mindful of Mr Belford’s guilty plea and his record relating to this type of matter. (AHR. 165(1)(b)). At the request of Mr Belford stewards stayed the imposition of the penalty until midnight on Saturday, December 3.

Race 4 - KELATO ANIMAL HEALTH PACE  1660M

Superbon (Nathan Dawson)– Hung out during the score up and at stages during the event.

Devouged (Brendan Barnes)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Tungsten Terror (Pete McMullen)– When leading hung out on the turn into the back straight near the 800 m.

Race 5 - SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION PACE  1660M

Maywyn Troubadour (Kelli Dawson)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward initially to the position outside of the leader.

Mossdale Mac NZ (Shane Graham)– Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 6 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND UP TO NR80 PACE   1660M

Whata Roller (Taleah McMullen) – Driver reprimanded for causing  a tightening to Captains Pick at the 1400 m. (AHR 168(1)(a))

Mummys Boy (Adam Richardson)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward initially to the position outside of the leader.

Speed Dating (Nathan Dawson)- Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1000 m.

Captains Pick (Grant Dixon)– Tightened contacting marker posts at the 1400 m.

Race 7 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED STAMINA PACE  1660M

Looks Just Right (Taleah McMullen)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 8 - 1EQUINE FOR THE EQUINE ATHLETE PACE  1660M

Eugenien (Alan Donohoe)– Was examined by the Veterinarian after the race after blood was detected in one nostril. After examination it was established the blood was as a result of trauma and no further action was taken.

Gozo Sunshine (Paul Matis)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Gave ground badly over the final 500 m.

Race 9 - A ROCKNROLL DANCE AT SOMERSET FARMS VETERANS PACE  2138M

Majordoit (Angus Garrard)– Raced wide without cover over the final 800 m.

Maretti (Brendan Barnes)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages. Inconvenienced leaving the 500m when caught behind tiring Mohs Em Down’

Mohs Em Down NZ (Lachie Manzelmann)– Caught wide early before restrained to a mid-field trailing position. Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward initially to the position outside of the leader. Gave ground over the final 500 m.

Jonah Jones NZ (Grant Dixon)– Raced wide with cover over the final 1000 m

Its Mr Clooney NZ (Pete McMullen)– Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 900 m.

Swaggie Shannon (Nathan Dawson)– Raced wide with cover over the final 900 m.

Sam Is Perfection (Chloe Butler)-Inconvenienced leaving the 500m when caught behind tiring Mohs Em Down.
