General: Brittany Graham (Tomahawk Bart) was questioned regarding her decision to remain on the marker post line leaving the 400m rather that progress forward wider on the track. It was noted that after making up ground approaching the home turn and in an endeavour to obtain clear running the gelding was moved to the outside where it only obtained clear running in the latter stages. Ms Graham advised that the gelding was not travelling well leaving the 400m and as it does not travel well when racing wide she elected to remain on the marker posts. After considering the matter Stewards noted the explanation.

Mr Butt confirmed his disappointment with the performance as the gelding had worked well during the week and he was confident of a forward showing. He advised Stewards that it would now be his intention to have blood tests carried out to identify an underlying issue. Mr Butt was advised to notify Stewards of such test results.
