Race 1 - CATCH THE FIRE AT SOMERSET FARMS PACE (SKY 2) 1660M
SPLASHNDASH Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event.
MAJOR TRALEE Raced three wide over the early stages of the event and when restraining into a rearward trailing position the pace steadied which resulted in the Gelding racing up onto the sulky of The Tiger Army for a brief period with the gelding contacting the offside sulky tyre. Left a rearward trailing position working forward three wide without cover to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1000 metre point.
THE TIGER ARMY The offside sulky tyre was struck and flattened by major Tralee nearing the 1400 metre point of the event when the pace slackened, which then placed the gelding at somewhat of a disadvantage.
General
Driver J. Topping was fined the sum of $400 under AHR Rule 156 (3) for utilizing the whip in an unapproved manner. The penalty was determined in accordance with the QRIC Penalty Guidelines.
Race 2 - PSP FRIDAY FRENZY PACE 2138M
LONESTAR LAD Withstood an early challenge for the lead from Kerbang until obtaining cover from Montgomery Burns NZ nearing the 1000 metre point. Yeilded ground leaving the 300 metre point inconveniencing Always Locksley who was trailing.
KERBANG Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead to race in the position outside of the leader throughout. Commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 500 metre point of the event. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg and will be stood down for a period of 7 days and require a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to resuming racing.
AMERICAN WEREWOLF Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.
REDS STAR DEAL Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.
MY ROCKY ROMANCE NZ Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
ALWAYS LOCKSLEY Checked and lost ground behind the tiring Lonestar Lad, the offside sulky tyre was punctured in the incident.
TIGER BY THE TAIL Checked when Kerbang commenced to yield ground leaving the 500 metre point.
MONTGOMERY BURNS NZ left a rearward trailing position working forward three wide without cover to lead the event from the 1000 metre point.
Race 3 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE UP TO NR75 PACE 2138M
DELILAH ROSE Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
WOW YOU CAN DANCE Held up for clear running over the early stages of the home straight.
RAGING SEA Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the lead nearing the 1000 metre point of the event, commenced to shift out under pressure over the concluding stages.
WORKS FOR ME NZ Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point.
Race 4 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 1660M
SHACKOUTTHEBACK Shifted out from the peg line to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point.
JOANS RISING STAR NZ Withstood an early challenge for the lead to lead throughout.
PRINCE JOY Inconvenienced when the pace steadied nearing the 1200 metre point.
EMPRESS BYELINE Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages of the event before restraining in behind Joans Rising Star.
DARIN NZ Momentarily tightened for room leaving the 1200 metre point contacting a marker peg.
Race 5 – RACING & SPORTS.COM PACE 2138M
FOR NO REASON Commenced a three wide run through the middle stages of the event working forward to secure a forward position when unsuccessful due to Vodka En Ice over racing in the position outside of the leader was obliged to restrain to a rearward trailing position.
ROYAL STUDLEIGH Led over the early stages of the event before obtaining cover from Allornothinglevi nearing the 1600 metre point.
VODKA EN ICE Was inclined to over race and pull hard when racing without cover and was unable to be restrained to obtain cover when For No Reason worked forward in an attempt to obtain the position outside of the leader, yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
LETS GO BAILEY Broke in the early stages of the score up however was in position at the start of the event.
ARENDELLE Inconvenienced leaving the 300 metre point by the tiring Allornothinglevi.
ALLORNOTHINGLEVI Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the lead nearing the 1600 metre point of the event, commenced to tire over the concluding stages of the event briefly inconveniencing trailing runners.
Race 6 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED STAMINA PACE 2138M
OLIVIA SHANNON Inclined to shift out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.
ROLLYARRRZ NZ Caught wide over the early stages of the event and was restrained to a rearward trailing position. Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point.
IMTHECANDYMAN Left a one out trailing position working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point and obtaining cover shortly after from Ideal Desire. Commenced to yield ground over the concluding stages of the event .
VIKANDER Raced roughly at the start.
IDEAL DESIRE Commenced a three wide run with cover working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1000 metre point. Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.
General
Driver D.Hewitt was reprimanded under AHR Rule 168(1)(a) for allowing his horse to shift ground over the concluding stages of the event causing tightening to Ideal Desire who was racing to the outside.
Race 7 – THE LADBROKES ULTIMATE DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP - 21 & 22 FEB PACE 1660M
BERTILS FIREFOX Unable to secure clear running over the vital stages of the event.
SHEZAMATERIALGIRL Led over the early stages before obtaining cover from My Ultimate Louie.
MY ULTIMATE LOUIE Worked forward to the lead nearing the 1100 metre point of the event.
MELTON INSULTED Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.
Race 8 – JOIN OUR CORPORATE STABLE @ THECREEK.COM.AU 1 WIN PACE 1660M
CAPTAIN BOAK Hung in at the start, Broke gait leaving the home turn. Connections were advised the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.
HATTIES JEWEL Hung in at the start when being driven forward.
RACE FOR RICHES Raced three wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader.
SOMEONES WATCHING Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.
OHOKAREDROBINJUJON Momentarily tightened for room shortly after the start when Captain Boak hung in resulting in the Gelding contacting a marker peg.
AARDIES MONEY NZ Underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed significant hopple chafe to the horses forelegs. Connections were advised the Filly will be stood down from racing for a period of 7 days.

MAIARA Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.
PEEJAY MACK Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
KEAYANG LACEY Caught wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.
