Race 1 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB UP TO NR75 PACE 2138M
DESPONDENT Led over the early stages of the event, nearing the 1100 metre point was momentarily placed in restricted racing room contacting the inside sulky wheel of Collect a Dime racing roughly and contacting a marker peg. Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
BETTOR ROMANCE Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
LITTLE BOLT Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1600 metre point before obtaining cover nearing the 1100 metre point.
SUNDAY MORNINGS Raced 4 wide without cover over the early stages of the event before being able to obtain the position outside of the leader nearing the 1100 metre point of the event commenced to hang in, a last chance to race truly was placed on the Gelding. Commenced to tire leaving the 400 metre point.
COLLECT A DIME Raced three wide without cover over the early stages of the event working forward to obtain the leading position nearing the 1100 metre point. Was tightened for room and subsequently broke gait for a short distance. No action was taken in this instance.
General
Stewards inquired into an incident leaving the 1200 metre point of the event where Collect a Dime broke gait resulting in Despondent who was racing to the inside on the peg line contacting the near side of the sulky and was tightened and checked as a result. After taking evidence from drivers M. Turnbull the driver of Sunday Morning and A. Richardson Collect a Dime. After taking evidence from both drivers, it was established that driver M. Turnbull was following driver A. Richardson down and his horse commenced to hang in despite the efforts of the driver which placed Collect a Dime in restricted racing room resulting in that Gelding being momentarily tightened and broke gait for a short distance checking Despondent. Connections of Sunday Morning were advised the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.
Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 1660M
GEM PUNTER PETE Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
BORELLA NZ Withstood an early challenge for the lead from My Rocky Romance to lead throughout until obtaining cover from Betting Origin.
MY ROCKY ROMANCE NZ Unsuccessfully challenge for the lead over the early stages of the event and raced in the position without cover throughout.
CHAMONIX Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.
BETTING ORIGIN Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point.
TIGER BY THE TAIL Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.
PRINCESS REMI Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.
Race 3 - LEADING EDGE SECURITY PACE 2138M
DIEGO DELGADO Inclined to over race when leading the event.
PARTY POLOTIX Inclined to over race and pull hard when racing in the position outside of the leader without cover. Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
LONDON LADY Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
LUKA DONCIC NZ Cast a near hind shoe in running.
Race 4 - PSP FRIDAY FRENZY PACE 1660M
JACCKA COOPER NZ Raced roughly for a short distance leaving the 900 metre point of the event.
BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1100 metre point before obtaining cover shortly after from Brett’s Red.
BRETTS RED Raced three wide through the early and middle stages working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1000metre point.
General
Driver B. Livingstone was fined the sum of $200 under AHR Rule 156 (2) for utilizing his whip in an unapproved manner in accordance with QRIC penalty guidelines.
Race 5 – THE LADBROKES ULTIMATE DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP FEATURING DEXTER DUNN PACE 1660M
HATTIES JEWEL Withstood an early challenge for the lead. Obtained cover nearing the 1000 metre point when Rolling Bonus worked forward to obtain the position.
ROLLONX Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages before obtaining cover nearing the 1200 metre point.
ROLLING BONUS Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point then worked forward to lead nearing the 1000 metre.
CLASSIC ARC out of position at the start and will be placed on it’s last chance in the draw.
Race 6 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED THREE PACE 1660M
MISTER HART Led over the early stages of the event before obtaining cover from I’m Freyja leaving the first turn. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
PROSPECTUS Withstood an early challenged for the position outside of the leader from Tarifa Girl to race without cover throughout.
IM FREYJA Worked forward over the early stages of the event to obtain the lead nearing the 1200 metre point.
TARIFA GIRL Raced wide over the early stages of the event after being unsuccessful in a challenge for a forward position was restrained to a rearward trailing position.
JILLIBY PANDA Restrained at the start. Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.
General
Driver C.Butler was fined the sum of $200 under AHR Rule 156 (3) for utilizing her whip in a consecutive unapproved manner.
Race 7 – LADBROKES SUNSHINE STARS YEARLING SALE CLASSIC TROTTING FINAL - 2YO FILLIES 2138M
MAROON BELLS Checked and broke when Down South Daisy broke gait nearing the 1900 metre point of the event.
DOWN SOUTH DAISY Broke gait nearing the 1900 metre point of the event. A warning was placed on the Filly. Cast a near hind shoe in the race.
Race 8 – LUNCHBOX LODGE SPELLING FARM 1 WIN PACE 1660M
SEE THE DREAM Hung out nearing the 900 metre point.
PEEJAY MACK Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event when savage storm worked forward. Hung in nearing the 450 metre point dislodging a peg a warning was placed on the gelding. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
ROCKSNGEMS Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
SAVAGE STORM Failed to circle in the pre race circle and will continue to be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts. Worked forward to the lead over the early stages of the event to lead throughout.
