Race 1 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO PACE 2138M
Our Sweet Jess was checked in the middle stages of the score up when the runner to her outside hung in. She was able to regain her correct position by the start.
My Ultimate Sassy hung in in the score up checking the runner to her inside – a warning was issued. Subsequently had a tendency to hang in at various stages of the race – a warning was issued.
Racana NZled the one wide line to the 1600 metres prior to being restrained to a three back peg line position.
Need Not To Warry utilised the sprint lane to finish in third place.
Big Rig Saintbroke free of interference near the 500 metres – placed on his last chance to race truly.
Race 2 – SULKY.APP - THE FUTURE OF FORM TROTTERS 0 TO 4 WIN HANDICAP 2138M
The all clear was delayed in order for the Stewards to determine if Tumult received a fair start. After viewing the official race videos Stewards determined that as Burkhardt NZ was regaining its position on the front row after rearing sideways Adam Sanderson, driver of lone 30 metres marker Tumult elected to take another turn and was on the move and regaining its correct position as the tapes were released. Although Tumult had not fully completed it turn it was able to trot forward as the tapes were released. Stewards were satisfied that Tumult suffered no material disadvantage and the all clear was given on the Judge’s numbers.
Panda Fooey tired over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 70 metres – placed on its last chance to race competitively.
Agent Black surrendered the lead on the first turn then retook the lead near the 1500 metres.
The Emulator
Burkhardt NZ fractious before the start – continue rods out of the draw in standing start races. Worked forward on the first turn then surrendered the lead near the 1500 metres.
Kyvalley Archerwas badly away checking another runner – placed on its last chance in the draw in standing start races.
Gleneagle Reignwas checked by a galloping runner at the start.
The Emulatorgave ground to be beaten 51 metres however, no action was taken against the mare due to the large margin of 31.7 metres between 3rd and 4th.
Getoverrover broke free of interference near the 900 metres – a warning was issued. Placed back in the standing start draw having satisfied QRIC requirements.
Tumult was determined to have received a fair start. was slow to muster speed after the start.
Race 3 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED EQUINE DEDICATED MILL TROTTERS RATING HANDICAP 2138M
Aurorasurrendered the lead near the 1600 metres.
Bun In The Oven NZbroke free of interference near the 1800 metres – a warning was issued.
Just Call Me Molly NZworked forward to take over the lead near the 1600 metres.
Miss Memphiswas badly away – continue right out of the draw in standing start races.
Kohli Trouble NZwas left leading the one wide line near the1600 metres then gained a one out one back trail approaching the 1000 metres.
Milly An Eyre NZwent on extended break shortly after the start was effected and as a result took no competitive part in the race – continue right out of the draw in standing start races.
Dhoni Trouble NZcommenced a three wide run from a rearward position near the 1250 metres to work forward to take over the position leading the one wide line approaching the 1000 metres.
Race 4 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT MAIDEN PACE 1660M
Light Up Lovey severely checked by a galloping runner near the 750 metres.
Mullum Hankhung in near the 400 metres resulting in its inside sulky wheel contacting and dislodging a marker peg – a warning was issued.
Joe Cavalierled the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 1300 metres. Checked by a galloping runner near the 750 metres.
Cullectingcardles was checked by a galloping runner near the 750 metres.
Skyro Dreamz placed back in the draw having satisfied QRIC requirements.
Studleigh Darceyhung in and broke free of interference near the 750 metres – stood down until its satisfactory completion of a requalifying trial.
Cocolyn will continue to be placed out of the draw having not participated in the pre race circle. Worked forward to lead the one wide line near the 1300 metres. Checked by a galloping runner near the 1750 metres.
Race 5 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 1660M
Hoiho NZled the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 1350 metres. Broke free of interference near the 450 metres – placed on his last chance to race truly.
Blue Bloodzworked forward three wide to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1350 metres.
Nortee Nash commenced to hang badly when making a three wide run on the final turn resulting in its driver having difficulty steering the gelding which caused it to lose significant ground. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. When questioned the connections told the Stewards that they have a good opinion of the gelding’s ability however, it is continuing to fail to race truly. They added that Nortee Nash completed the race having a very low heart rate, indicative of the gelding possibly failing to perform fully to its ability. Regarding the gelding hanging badly they will be making equipment changed in an attempt to have Nortee Nash race truly.
Race 6 - A ROCKNROLL DANCE AT SOMERSET FARMS PACE 2138M
Charlie Chucklesled the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 1800 metres.
Archilles worked forward to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1800 metres. Gained a one one back trail near the 1000 metres.
Torque Tothe Music commenced a three wide run from a rearward position near the 1350 metres to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1000 metres.
Race 7 – AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS UP TO NR75 PACE 2138M
Bobby Waterhouse NZutilised the sprint lane to finish third.
Classic Mix Upshifted out from fourth on the peg line near the 950 metres to lead the one wide line.
Kash Us Backbroke in the score up and was well out of position at the start taking no competitive part in the race – placed out of the draw in mobile barrier races.
Race 8 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB PACE 1660M
Sheza Cracker broke in the score up and was well out of position at the start taking no competitive part in the race – placed out of the draw in mobile barrier races.
Pyrrhic Dancer worked forward to the lead approaching the 1100 metres.
Ideal Perfection
Rylee Rhayne Bowled then surrendered the lead approaching the 1100 metres. Utilised the sprint lane to win.
Fe Fe On Fire left leading the one wide line from the 1100 metres.
Race 9 - WOLF SIGNS PACE 1660M
Littlelioneljameswithstood an early challenge for the lead.
Hes Sweet mounted an unsuccessful early challenge for the lead however, withstood and early challenge for the position leading the one wide line. Shifted out noticeably in the run to the finish – driver Alanah Richardson reprimanded under the provisions of AHRR168(1)(a) – careless driving, for failing to make sufficient effort to prevent Hes Sweet from shifting out in the run to the finish.
Khulan Kidmounted an unsuccessful early challenge for a forward position prior to being restrained to a rearward trailing position.
Chappy Streetnorthcommenced three wide run from the rear of the field near the 850 metres.
