Race 1 - LADBROKES BET TICKER PACE      2138M

DARIN NZ - Broke gait in the early stages of the score up.

IMA BEACH BABE – Sulky tyre (off-side) struck and punctured by Montgomery Burns near the 100m.

IM BOO NZ – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

STUDLEIGH PUNTER – Broke gait near the 300m. Given the horse's previous record in this regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

MY ROCKY ROMANCE NZ - Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 800m.

MONTGOMERY BURNS NZ – Driver fined careless driving.

MISTER FONZI – Inconvenienced near the 100m.

General: Doug Hewitt (Montgomery Burns) was fined $100 for being careless when attempting to take a run to the inside of Mister Fonzi (Layne Dwyer) and the outside of Ima Beach Babe (Peter McMullen) near the 100m where doubt full racing room existed which resulted in Montgomery Burns striking and puncturing the off-side sulky tyre of Ima Beach Babe. As a result, Montgomery Burns raced roughly and shifted out inconveniencing Mister Fonzi. (AHR 168(1)(a)).

Race 2 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE           1660M

ROLLING BONUS – Held up for a clear run to the finish.

MAJOR LINCOLN – Failed to come up into position. The gelding will be placed on its last chance in the draw in mobile events.

STUDLEIGH ANNE – Was examined by the Veterinarian prior to the race after the filly slipped over in the race day stalls prior to entry onto track. After examination the filly was cleared to start. Left a one wide trailing position at the 1300m and worked forward to the position in the lead near the 1000m.

Race 3 - PSP FRIDAY FRENZY PACE  1660M

FOR NO REASON – Overraced and pulled hard during the event when leading the one wide line.

VALLANI MAGIC – Having not started in a race since April 2024 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines, the mare was examined before and after the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities. After satisfying QRIC requirements the horse will be placed back in the draw in mobile events.

ALWAYS IDLE - Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The mare will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

ENGLISH DANCE – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and early stages of the straight.

Race 4 - RACING & SPORTS.COM PACE         2138M

TARIFA GIRL – Gave ground after racing outside of the leader. An examination by the veterinarian subsequent to the race found no abnormalities at time of examination.

MUFASA BART – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

ROYAL PRINCESS - Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.

MISS HATTIE – Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.

Race 5 – NUTRIEN EQUINE 1 WIN PACE         1660M

VALENTINE QUEEN – Raced greenly when leading and in particular over the final 150 metres of the race.

MILLWOOD BROOKLYN NZ – Broke in the score resulting in the filly being out of position at the start before being retired from the event during the final lap. Millwood Brookly NZ was declared ineligible in mobile events until a satisfactory trial is performed and the filly will be drawn on the extreme outside in mobile events.

MULLUM ROXY – Having not started in a race since October 2023 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines, the mare was examined before and after the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

THE BLINGSTER – Gave ground over the final 800 metres to be beaten 59.8 metres. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race competitively.

OUR SWEET JESS – Inclined to lay out at stages during the event.

ESTIVAL – Hung in throughout the race resulting in contact with marker posts. Gave ground over the final 400m. A warning was issued.

Race 6 - JOIN OUR CORPORATE STABLE @ THECREEK.COM.AU MAIDEN PACE 1660M

STONES – Gave ground to be beaten in excess of 80 metres. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race competitively.

MCEQUALIZER – Raced roughly during the event. Gave ground to be beaten in excess of 70 metres. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race competitively.

SOMETHINGSRWICKED – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will be drawn on the extreme outside in future mobile events.

NOTTA LOUCZAR – Retired from the event leaving the 1200m with a broken carrying strap. An examination of the gear found that the carrying straps had not been properly fixed in accordance with the Stewards direction. Trainer Steve Towns was subsequently fined $100 for presenting the gelding to race with insecure gear. (AHR. 273(2)(b)).

FIGHT TO THE END – Trainer reprimanded for presenting gelding to race with gear that covered the nostrils. (AHR. 273(4)). Hung in rounding the home turn.

Race 7 - WOLF SIGNS 0 TO 2 WINS PACE       2138M

TEAM SPORT – Overraced and pulled hard during the event. Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight. Driver questioned regarding driving tactics.

BEV THE GOAT NZ – Broke gait near the 200m. As a previous warning had been issued the mare was stood down until it trials satisfactorily.

General: Pete McMullen (Team Sport) was questioned regarding his driving tactics in the front straight in the run to the finish in particular why he failed to utilise the sprint lane. Mr McMullen advised that Team Sport was under pressure rounding the turn and was struggling to make ground. He further added that he did not anticipate that both Playboi Roy and Enzed Flyer would shift ground to the degree that would enable him to use the sprint lane. Mr McMullen was of the view that the horses ahead of him approaching the finish were tiring which enabled him to make up ground late. After consideration of the explanation Stewards noted the comments.

Race 8 – LEADING EDGE SECURITY PACE (SKY 1)    1660M

CHANCELESS CENTURY – Left a one wide trailing position at the 1100m and worked forward to the position outside of the leader near the 900m.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING – Inclined to shift out under pressure in the run to the finish.

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE – Broke gait leaving the 400m. Given the horse's previous record in this regard the mare will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

SPLASHNDASH – Overraced and pulled hard during the event.

Race 9 – SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION UP TO NR65 TROTTERS MOBILE (SKY 1)          1660M

KIVICI – Broke gait shortly after the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

MILLY AN EYRE NZ – After satisfying QRIC requirements the horse will be placed back in the draw in mobile events.

ALDEBARAN FONZ – After satisfying QRIC requirements the horse will be placed back in the draw in mobile events.
