Race 1 – LADBROKES POPULAR SRM QUALIFYING PACE    1660m   Mobile

HUXTON NZ – Broke gait free of interference after the start. Excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events.

UDDERLY SWEET – Raced rough entering the first turn when checked by its driver to avoid tightening DRAGON which was racing to its inside at the time.

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON NZ – Checked after the start when HUXTON NZ broke gait.

EAGLESPRIDE – Inconvenienced after the start when HUXTON NZ broke gait.

Race 2 – WOLF SIGNS BAND 5 PACE      2138m     Mobile

STORYTELLER NZ – Hung out in the score-up resulting in the gelding being back from its allotted position at the start. Continue to hang after the start. A warning was issued. Held up in the early stages of the home straight in the run to the finish.

MY ULTIMATE CARTER – Failed to secure clear running over the concluding stages.

ROCK SUPREME – Failed to secure clear running over the concluding stages.

BIGGER THE BETTOR NZ – Inconvenienced in the score-up resulting in the gelding being slightly out of position at the start. Checked after the start. These incidents were as a result of STORYTELLER NZ hanging out before and after the start.

TREMENDOUS SENSATION NZ – Inconvenienced in the score-up resulting in the gelding being slightly out of position at the start, also inconvenienced after the start. These incidents were as a result of STORYTELLER NZ hanging out before and after the start.

Race 3 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MARES OPEN PACE                 1660m    Mobile

GOLDEN FIRE NZ – Utilised the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

SOAP OPERA – Shifted in resulting in its sulky wheel either striking or racing inside markers. A warning was issued.

Race 4 – BECOME A CREEK MEMBER – JOIN NOW BAND 5 PACE    2138m     Mobile                               

ROLL UP NZ – Raced rough near the 800.

ITZBUDDHA NZ – Raced rough approaching the 200 and shifted out, checking IMA QUEEN BEE.

IMA QUEEN BEE – Checked approaching the 200 when ITZBUDDHA NZ shifted out.

Race 5 – NUTRIEN EQUINE QUALIFYING PACE (B DIV)     1660m     Mobile

RESILIENT NZ – Raced outside the leader throughout.

MY ULTIMATE MARIO NZ – Caught racing three-wide throughout.

ALIBERTO NZ – Raced three-wide throughout, albeit with cover.

Race 6 – SOMERSET FARMS UP TO NR65 QBRED PACE       1660m    Mobile

IDEAL DESIRE – Shifted in rounding the final turn resulting markers being struck. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight for the run to the finish.

BETTORS MOON – Inconvenienced in the run to the finish when IDEAL DESIRE shifted wide.

General: Due to the deterioration of the racing surface after the rain, Stewards directed that splash-sheets and mudguards be fitted to all sulkies for the remainder of the meeting.

Race 7 – RACING & SPORTS.COM OPEN PACE          1660m    Mobile

No Racing Incidents

Race 8 – I H CAPITAL BAND 4 / BAND 3 PACE            2138m     Mobile

AMAMI – Hung out between the 400 and 300, contributing to LUVBITE racing in restricted room.

FASHION ICON – Had a tendency to over-race.

OUR SUNSET DELIGHT – Leaving the 400 raced on the outside rein, shifting in contributing to the tightening of LUVBITE. On attempting to release the pressure was taken up the track and came together with TARGARYEN NZ which was racing tight to its outside. This incident resulted in OUR SUNSET DELIGHT breaking gait for a number of strides.

TARGARYEN NZ – Raced tight to the outside of OUR SUNSET DELIGHT midway through the final turn preventing that gelding from easing pressure to its inside

LUVBITE – Tightened for racing room on the final turn.

General: Stewards on review of racing on the final turn were of the view that a number of contributing factors combined which caused OUR SUNSET DELIGHT to break gait. The incident was recorded as such.

Race 9 – LUNCHBOX LODGE SPELLING FARM MARES QUALIFYING PACE   1660m  Mobile
