Race 1 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB PACE   1660M

JACCKA WALLY NZ Was inclined to hang out when leading the event.

MAJIC MOMENT NZ Momentarily locked wheels with Supa Dupa Luca NZ nearing the 1200 metre point when that gelding was being restrained to a rearward position. Sustained an offside flat tyre in the incident.

MOMENTUM SWING Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

SUPA DUPA LUCA NZ Broke gait in the early stages of the score up however was in position at the start. Broke gait free of interference leaving the first turn was then restrained in an attempt to obtain a trailing position with cover. Shifted in when being restrained nearing the 1200 metre point momentarily locking wheels with Majic Moment NZ was then driven forward over the latter stages of the event yielding ground over the concluding stages. Connections were advised the gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

Race 2 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE           2138M

LULU MAE Yielded ground leaving the 400 metre point of the event, inconveniencing trailing runners.

BLING THE LUCK Inconvenienced behind the tiring Lulu Mae rounding the home turn.

GOODOLBOYSANDBEER Raced wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to the rear of the field.

DANIEL BOOM Raced wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to the rear of the field. Commenced a three wide run with cover leaving the 900 metre point.

AARDIES MONEY NZ  Inconvenienced behind the tiring Lulu Mae rounding the home turn. Inclined to hang in under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.   

HELL OF A HAND Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 900 metre point of the event.

Race 3 - PSP FRIDAY FRENZY PACE  1660M

TRALEE MAXIE Commenced to tire leaving the 400 metre point of the event, inconveniencing trailing runners.

EMPRESS BYELINE Restrained at the start of the event.

MODERN SHEEN Required the clerk’s assistance in the pre-race preliminary circle.

IM BOO NZ Raced wide without cover over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point.

SHACKOUTTHEBACK Inconvenienced behind the tiring Tralee Maxie nearing the 400 metre point, shifted wider to improve raced roughly leaving the 200 meter point and subsequently broke gait. Connections were advised the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

STUDLEIGH ANNE Held up for clear running entering the home straight.

Race 4 - RACING & SPORTS.COM PACE         1660M

MISTER HART Unable to hold the lead over the early stages of the event obtaining cover from Tarifa Girl.

MACS A DUDE Held up for clear running leaving the home turn. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

JIMMY JOYCE Raced wide without cover over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1000 metre point.

THE HARRIS HAWK Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.

ON DA NOD Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point.

General

Driver M. Elkins was reprimanded under AHR Rule 163 (1)(c)(ii) for contacting a marker peg entering the home straight.

Race 5 – LEADING EDGE SECURITY PACE     1660M

BETTORS BOY Withstood an early challenge for the lead over the early stages of the event from Braeview Fella to lead throughout. Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event. When questioned over the geldings performance in today’s event Driver C.Butler advised she was not happy with the geldings performance in todays event and felt the horse would perform better with todays draw. C.Butler advised that she intendeds to send the horse for a short letup after todays performance.

MAN OF ACTION NZ Raced three wide without cover over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1100 metre point.

BRAEVIEW FELLA Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages of the event obtained cover from Man Of Action NZ nearing the 1100 metre point.

CLASSIC ARC Raced three wide without cover leaving the 800 metre point of the event.

General

Driver C.Butler was fined the sum of $200 for utilizing her whip outside the confines of the sulky in striking the nearside wheel disc.

Race 6 - SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION PACE 1660M

IDEAL DESIRE Withstood an early challenge for the lead over the early stages of the event from Bushy Beach NZ to lead throughout. Commenced to yield ground leaving the 300 metre point of the event.

BUSHY BEACH NZ Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages of the event and was obliged to race outside of the leader throughout.

STUDLEIGH PUNTER Caught wide at the start and was restrained to a rearward trailing position.

Race 7 - WOLF SIGNS MAIDEN PACE 1660M

CROSS WALK Inclined to over race when leading.

JADEZ Restrained at the start to a rearward trailing position.

KEAYANG LACEY Caught wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.

KEAYANG AVA Broke in the early stages of the score up and will continue to be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts. Yielded ground leaving the 400 metre point finishing in excess of 100 metres from the winner. Connections were advised the Filly will be required to complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.

AMBERS ALLSTAR Hung in when tiring contacting a number of marker pegs rounding the home turn.

Race 8 – NUTRIEN EQUINE PACE       1660M

THREE CHORD RIFF Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event. Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

BERTILS FIREFOX Withstood an early challenge for the lead from Betting Barron.

BETTING BARON Unsuccessful challenge for the lead over the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead nearing the 1200 metre point.

Race 9 – THE LADBROKES ULTIMATE DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP - 21 & 22 FEBRUARY 1 WIN PACE     1660M

BASILISK BOB Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point.

CAPTAIN BOAK Delayed the start of the event when the sulky had sustained a flat tyre in the preliminary and needed to be changed. Broke gait leaving the home turn, connections were advised the Gelding will be required to complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.

RACANA NZ Slow to score up however was in position at the start.
