Race 1 –LADBROKES BIG BETS PACE 1660M
EXCLUSIVE HUSTLER Raced three wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader.
LANAI Inconvenienced for a short distance entering the first turn.
General
Driver J. Chapple was fined the sum of $200 under AHR Rule 168 (1)(a) for shifting ground in a careless manner shortly after the start briefly inconveniencing LANAI who was racing in a rearward trailing position to ARKIN WICKED.
Race 2 –GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 1660M
ROCK NIEN Caught wide over the early stages of the event and was restrained to a rearward trailing position.
SPORTY ZARA Hung in leaving the home turn contacting the outside sulky wheel of COPPERFIELD resulting in the Filly being checked and raced roughly for a short distance.
INTO THE MYSTIC NZ Raced with cover throughout, commenced to yield ground leaving the 600 metre point of the event hanging in and contacting a number of marker pegs before being retired from the event. A post-race veterinary examination of the Mare revealed no significant findings. Driver B.Battle reported post-race he had sustained a near side flat tyre shortly after the start which may have placed the mare at somewhat of a disadvantage and when she commenced to tire he elected to retire from the event.
COPPERFIELD NZ The offside sulky wheel was struck leaving the home turn by SPORTY ZARA who hung in sharply.
CHEERSTOLOU Left a rearward trailing position working forward three wide without cover through the middle stages obtaining the lead nearing the 1000 metre point of the event. The Gelding was subsequently held back for a period of no less than 3 hours to enable a post-race blood test to be conducted.
Race 3 –PSP TIP-TOP THURSDAY PACE 2138M
YANKEE C J NZ Led over the early stages of the event, withstood a brief challenge for the lead through the middle stages of the event from IM LORD TOMMY. Obtained cover shortly after nearing the 1200 metre point of the event from MOONSHINER NZ.
TWEEDY NZ Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.
MOONSHINER NZ Left a one out trailing position working forward three wide through the middle stages of the event to obtain the lead nearing the 1200 metre point.
SUBTLE DELIGHT Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.
General
Trainer C.Turpin was reprimanded under AHR Rule 273(5)(b) for failing to have the correct gear notified for MOONSHINER NZ in this event.
Race 4 – SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION PACE 1660M

Race 5 –PRYDE'S EASIFEED BIOMARE UP TO NR60 MOBILE TROT 2138m
YSMIR Led over the early stages before obtaining cover from DAIMYO nearing the 1800 metre point.
DAIMYO Challenged for the lead over the early stages of the event progressing forward near the 1800 metre point to lead for the remainder.
FENOMENAL Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point.
ALDEBARANSTILINSKI Broke gait shortly after the start and connections were advised the Gelding will now be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

TE RAPA NZ Worked forward through the middle stages of the event to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1200 metre point. Commenced to yield ground leaving the 400 metre point.
Race 6 –RACING & SPORTS.COM PACE 2138M
ALWAYS BE A TORQUE Raced three wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1800 metre point. Obtained cover shortly after from MUCHO GUAPA. Nearing the 900-metre point was inconvenienced and taken back by the tiring MUCHO GUAPA then inconvenienced when having to shift wider to improve nearing the 800-metre point placing the Mare at somewhat of a disadvantage when the pace quickened.
MUCHO GUAPA Out of position at the candy pole however was in the correct allotted position by the start of the event. Raced three wide over the early stages with a trail working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader nearing the 1800 metre point. Commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 900 metre point inconveniencing trailing runners. Completed the event in excess of 130 metres from the winner a post race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. The trainer was advised that MUCHO GUAPA will be required to complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.
GET ME OUTTA HERE Commenced to over race and pull hard when leading which may have placed the Gelding at somewhat of a disadvantage.
MAYWYNS KAREN Raced three wide over the early stages before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. Checked when MUCHO GUAPA yielded ground ahead of the mare nearing the 900 metre point.
PROSPECTUS Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.
General
Trainer B.Borg was reprimanded under AHR Rule 273(5)(b) for failing to have the correct gear as advertised on MUCHO GUAPA.
Driver B. Borg was reprimanded under AHR 162 (1)(i) for failing to be in the correct position at the candypole when scoring up.
Race 7 –WOLF SIGNS UP TO NR45 CONDITIONED TROT 2138M
OURPETBILT Galloped out for a short distance at the start the filly will be placed on it’s last chance in the standing draw.
MIDNIGHT SECRET Broke at the start and a warning was placed on the Gedling. The Gelding was placed out of the standing draw as per the trainers request.
VOLTAIN Worked forward from the start to obtain the lead nearing the 1400 metre point of the event obtained cover from Northern Heights nearing the 1300 metre point.
NORTHERN HEIGHTS Worked forward over the early stages of the race to obtain the lead nearing the 1300 metre point.
IGNITE Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
CASCATA Stood flat footed at the start and will continue to be drawn to the outside for future standing starts.
FLASH KYVALLEY placed back in the standing draw after two satisfactory consecutive standing starts.
General
Driver P.McMullen was reprimanded under AHR Rule 160(1) for failing to warm up NORTHERN HEIGHTS in the correct direction in the pre-race preliminary.
Race 8 –SOMERSET FARMS MAIDEN PACE 1660M
MY ULTIMATE LEO Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1000 metre point.
RESPECT THE MIKI Hung in leaving the 1000 metre point.
MIGHTY IDEAL Hung in entering the first turn contacting a marker peg.
Race 9 - TESKI CLEANING SERVICES 0 TO 1 WIN TROTTERS HANDICAP 2138M
ITS ALL RIGHT NOW Broke gait at the start, galloping for a significant distance and taking no further competitive part in the event. Connections were advised a warning will be placed on the Filly.
Race 10 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO TROTTERS HANDICAP 2138M
NONIS GOLD CLASS Shifted in rounding the home turn contacting a marker peg.
SERENA LOVE Broke gait nearing the 1600 metre point taking no further competitive part. Connections were advised the Filly will be required to complete two satisfactory consecutive requalifying trials prior to resuming racing.
