Due to Driver N.Dawson being unavailable to take driver engagements at todays meeting. The following driver changes have been made.

R1 Midnight Senora – Ricky Thurlow

Race 1 - AUSTRALIAN PACING GOLD BRISBANE SALES GRADUATES - 2YO HEAT  1660M

Midnight Senora – Hung in under pressure rounding the hometurn.

Girl The Girl – Broke gait at the start of the event, connections were advised the Filly will now be placed to the outside for future mobile starts.

Big Rig Saint – Caught wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

General

Trainer G.Hewitt was reprimanded under AHR Rule 273 (6)(b) for failing to have the correct gear listed.

Race 2 - AUSTRALIAN PACING GOLD BRISBANE SALES GRADUATES - 2YO HEAT 2  1660M

Little Surfer Girl – Withstood an early challenge for the lead to lead throughout, commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 200 metre point of the event contacting a number of marker pegs. Finishing in excess of 50 metres from the winner. A post race veterinary examination of the Filly revealed no significant abnormalities. Connections advised the filly was working well at home and will notify stewards if anything comes to light.  Stewards noted the comments tendered and a waring was placed on the filly for contacting marker pegs.

Designer Jewel – was unsuccessful in challenging for the lead over the early stages of the event. Then was restrained into a trailing position behind Designer Jewel, inconvenienced over the concluding stages when Designer Jewel was yielding ground quickly.

Tenggeri– Hung in entering the home turn when tiring contacting a marker peg.

Rapid Action – Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event finishing in excess of 60 metres from the winner. Stewards took into consideration the quick mile rate in this heat and the Gelding is a first starter and took no further action against the horse.

General 

Trainer B. Battle was reprimanded under AHR Rule 273 (6)(b) for failing to have the correct gear listed.

Race 3 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED ENERGY PAK PACE  1660M

Pink River Diamond – Broke gait and jibbed in the early stages of the score up resulting in the Mare being out of position at the start. Connections were advised the Mare will now be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

Whata Legacy – Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 600 metre point of the event.

Race 4 - KELATO ANIMAL HEALTH PACE  1660M

Convinced –Withstood an early challenge for the lead from Gabby’s Ideal to lead throughout.

Gabbys Ideal – Unsuccessful challenge for the lead then obtained cover from Ghost train shortly after.

Ghost Train – Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Sports Bounty 

Amused – Left a rearward trailing position nearing the 1100 metre point of the event working forward without cover for the remainder.

Ollie One Shot – Contacted a peg entering the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

General

Driver D.Vievers was reprimanded under AHR Rule 163(1)(c) for contacting a marker peg entering the sprint lane.  

Race 5 - SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION PACE   1660M

Defence Attorney Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Always Locksley worked forward from the position outside of the leader to the lead nearing the 1200 metre point.

Quik Change Caught wide over the early stages of the event to restrain to a rearward trailing position.

Gem Punter Pete Caught wide over the early stages of the event to restrain to a rearward trailing position.

Madam Maggie Caught wide over the early stages of the event to restrain to a rearward trailing position.

Franco Macho NZ Broke free of interference nearing the 100 metre point of the event. Connections were advised that the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

Aphrodite – Failed to circle in the pre race preliminary.

Race 6 - PSP FRIDAY FRENZY PACE  1660M

Gina Del Ray Led throughout, Blundered nearing the 800metre point.

Donttellmeagain Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Pocket Book NZ Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Houston Street Commenced a three wide run without cover nearing the 1200 metre point of the event.

Race 7 - ENJOY RETIREMENT PHIL REDMOND PACE  1660M

Weona Sir Vivor Showed gate speed and worked forward from the start to lead leaving the first turn.

Call to Order– Connections were questioned in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance in todays event. G.Dixion put forward the Colt had missed some work during the week and felt he would take benefit from todays run and plans to increase his racing engagements moving forward.

Take A Chance Caught wide over the early stages of the event then restrained to a rearward trailing position.

B Mac C NZ Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event.

Always Aurora Raced three wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Chamonix Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 8 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE  2138M

Goodolboysandbeer Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1700 metre point then obtained cover shortly after when Marvella worked forward.

Marvella Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1800 metre point.

Delightful Rainbow Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Im Boo NZ Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 800 metre point of the event.

Sheer Artistry NZ Commenced a three wide run with cover leaving the 800 metre point.

Firebolt Placed back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

General

Driver N. Rothwell was fined the sum of $100 under AHR Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start of the event.

Race 9 - LADBROKES BLACKBOOK UP TO NR70 PACE  1660M

Into The Mystic NZ – Yielded ground after leading throughout leaving the 300 metre point of the event finishing in excess of 46 metres from the winner. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed on it’s last chance to race competitively.

Robyn X NZ - Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event behind the tiring Into the Mystic NZ.

Bettor Romance Hung in entering the home turn and then again leaving the 1600 metre point contacting a marker peg a warning was placed on the mare.

The Rainbow Beach Raced wide through the middle stages working forward to challenged for a forward position, after being unsuccessful in obtaining a forward position was restrained to a rearward trailing position with cover.

Race 10 - RACING & SPORTS.COM PACE  1660M

Four For Four Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event.

Shes Classy NZ – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Synchronizer – Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Gleneagle Vee Cee – Worked forward from the start to lead the event throughout. Hung in leaving the first turn contacting a number of marker pegs a warning was issued.

Getaloadathisbro – Inclined to pull hard in the score up and was slightly out of position at the start a warning was placed on the Gelding.
