Race 1 - LEADING EDGE SECURITY TROTTERS RATING HANDICAP 2138M
Kohli Trouble NZ – Broke gait near the 1900m and again near the 900m. Given the horse's previous record in this regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.
Just Call Me Molly NZ – Raced wide over the final 800m.
Triage – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Broke gait near the 1000m. Given the geldings previous record Triage was stood down pending two (2) satisfactory trials.
Milly An Eyre NZ– Galloped after the start. The mare will continue to placed right out of the draw in standing start events.
Connies President NZ – Raced wide with cover over the final 800m.
En Masse NZ – Inconvenienced when Triage galloped near the 900m.
Burkhardt NZ – Raced wide in the mid stages of the race before working forward to the position outside of the leader.
Race 2 – WOLF SIGNS TROTTERS RATING HANDICAP 2138M
Andover Sun - Trainer reprimanded incorrect gear.
Als Law – Trainer fined incorrect gear. Gave ground badly over the final 600m to be beaten 126 metres. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory and declared the gelding ineligible until it trials satisfactorily.
Race 3 - CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE 1660M
Sweet Lad Jujon – Slow to begin.
Racana NZ – Trainer reprimanded incorrect gear.
Victree Busta – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.
Ogedie – Held up for a clear run to the finish.
Travelnfeelin – Hung in and had to be steadied when racing wide around the home turn.
Race 4 - STANCE EQUITEC 0 TO 2 WINS PACE 1660M
Its One Life NZ – Gave ground over the final 500m to be beaten in excess of 60 metres.
Teddy Turpin – Having not started in a race since October 2023 and in accordance with QRIC guidelines, the horse was examined before and after the race by the veterinarian which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
Sweetnspicy – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.
Sweet On Lexy – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position in the lead near the 900m.
Race 5 – TESKI CLEANING SERVICES PACE 1660M
Slippin The Life – Trainer reprimanded incorrect gear.
Delilah Rose – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.
Charge Ahead – Out of position at the candy pole. A warning was issued.
Race 6 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND UP TO NR70 PACE 1660M
Ambiguous – Gave ground from the 400m.
Escobar NZ – Left a one-wide position near the 1100m and worked forward wide until obtaining the position outside of the leader near the 900m.
Race 7 – LADBROKES EASY FORM NR70-99 VETERANS PACE 1660M
Firestorm Red – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages. Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.
Kingmaker NZ – Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 900m.
Miracle Moose NZ – Hung in and contacted a number of marker posts leaving the 300m. A warning was issued.
Dadndave NZ – Trainer reprimanded incorrect gear. Left a one-wide position near the 1300m and worked forward wide until initially obtaining the position outside of the leader near the 1100m.
So Extra - Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.
Race 8 - SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION PACE 2138M
Makara NZ – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.
Race 9 - RACING & SPORTS.COM PACE 1660M
Aqua Cruiser – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.Gave ground over the final 400m.
Cosmic Flyer – Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.
