The convincing win of Mydadsaid in the Group 3 $52,000 The C J 4&5YO Classic at Redcliffe has given the Australian Pacing Gold Brisbane Yearling Sale to be held at Ipswich next Sunday a terrific boost.

A Mcwicked half-brother to Mydadsaid, now the winner of more than $200,000, will go under the hammer as Lot 15.

Two recent Albion Park winners in the two-year-old Saint Maharg and The Harris Hawk have siblings in the Ipswich auction.

Saint Maharg is represented by a half-brother by the 2022 USA and Canadian Horse of the Year Bulldog Hanover as Lot 32, while The Harris Hawk, who has banked just shy of $100,000, has a half-sister by the fast Captaintreacherous import Catch The Fire.

Lot 41, a Father Patrick filly out of the Muscles Yankee mare Graciella Pinevale, is a half-sister to the Melton and Cranbourne trotting winner Freight Shaker.

Another trotting yearling with a sibling in the sale is Lot 44, a Sebastian K half-sister to the Ballarat victor Singara Ted.

Lot 26, Tall Dark Stranger colt, ranks as a half-brother to the promising mare Harleequin, the winner of three of her last four starts at Penrith.

A number of APG sale graduates have been to the forefront in major races around the country during the past fortnight.

Leap To Fame took out the Group 1 $150,000 Cranbourne Gold Cup in track record time, defeating fellow APG graduates Swayzee and Jilliby Nitro, while Speak The Truth won the Free-for-all at Albion Park and the trotter Your Majesty scored twice at Menangle.

Your Majesty has a half-brother by the highly touted King Of The North as Lot 239 in the APG Sydney sale.

Another APG sales graduate in Captains Knock downed a star-studded field in the $60,000 The Gold Rush Cup at Bathurst to lift his stake earnings over the $1 million plateau.
