Redcliffe Lighting Upgrade Update

Redcliffe harness racing will resume on Wednesday night 11 December as planned with the Redcliffe lighting upgrade nearing completion.  While the aim was for the lights to be turned on and used for racing prior to Christmas, unfortunately due to inclement weather over the past month, connection of the new lights will not be completed until early in the new year.  Pleasingly the new light poles and LED lights have been installed throughout the recent track closure which has also provided the opportunity for the track to be resurfaced.

Operationally:

• Thursday meetings - the intention is from the 1st of January to revert to the usual schedule commencing around 12pm – 1pm, however there may be some changes to start times week to week to aid completion of the project.   
• Wednesday trials -  have recommenced, effective immediately.
