TAB Eureka Tour Launched

The expectations, excitement and anticipation for the biggest event in Australian Harness Racing – The Eureka is drawing closer as the weeks roll by.

To be held on Saturday September 2 at Menangle Paceway NSW, the $2.1 Million dollar stake ‘slot race’ over 2400 metres will feature a quality line up of ten horses including Captain Ravishing ($200,000 Breeders Crown 3YO Final, Catch A Wave ($1,000,000 Miracle Mile, $250,000 Chariots Of Fire and $300,000 Breeders Crown 2YO Final), Triple Crown Derby winner Leap To Fame ($200,000 Victoria, $150,000 Queensland  & $200,000 NSW), My Ultimate Ronnie ($100,000 Millbrae Quarries Final) and The Lost Storm ($130,000 Vicbred 2YO Final).

Addition horses are yet to be named but will be in the weeks ahead.

Big name owners in the sport Team Zav (Danny Zavitsanos), Cordina Racing, Kevin & Kay Seymour, Soho Racing, Aaron Bain & Summit Bloodstock, TAB, Western Jewel, Racing Queensland, John Singleton & Tas Racing are the confirmed slot holders in the race for a three year period.

This will be the ‘Race of the Century’ being the richest ever harness race ever held in the Southern Hemisphere with all roads leading to the Menangle Complex to witness what will be a memorable event in Harness Racing History.

Melbourne Media’s Len Baker will be hosting a boutique tour to the meeting over three days Friday September 1, Saturday September 2 and Sunday September 3.
