Menangle Park horseman Jarrod Alchin is making his way to Queensland today.

Alchin has a two-pronged attack in the Group 2 Trotters Sprint at Albion Park on Saturday night with Regal Attire and Doff Your Cap.

This means the 36-year-old will be missing from Menangle on Saturday night where he has two Group 1 starters.

Alchin has his fillies Madrid and Havahh Nice Day in the NSW Breeders Challenge Blue Finals.

“Madrid is really well and I’m happy with her,” said Alchin.

“I was happy with her run in the Breeders Challenge Final, it wasn’t really her go sitting outside them and she was only beaten nine metres.

“Havahh Nice Day is a new filly for my stable and she impressed me at the trials the other day.

“I’m really happy with all my horses racing on Saturday and Madrid has the best chance of all of them.”
