Trainer Darren Elder.

Having to relocate all of their horses in the recent floods the Elder family are back in force at Newcastle tonight.

Trainer Darren Elder and his son Brad had to move more than 40 horses off their property before the flood swept through their training establishment.

Elder’s last starters were on July 1 and tonight he will produce two of his horses Lord Bazalup and Rocktagonal with both pacers to be driven by Brad.

The latter has four drives tonight and heads to the meeting with a career record of 483 winners.

Meanwhile, the horse with the strongest form on the nine-race card is the Menangle-prepared Orchid Stride.

The mare has won her last three starts for trainer Jack Trainor and is in race four.

With Trainor currently campaigning in Queensland, Orchid Stride will be driven by Jack Brown.
