Race 1:
OVERVIEW: SAMMY HALLER (5) improving trotter that is learning his craft but shows to have good natural ability. Proving he trots throughout he can run well here. LITTLE MISS VALLEY (1) does have the race experience and working up to a win and will get every chance from the ideal draw. JILLIBY BLISS (2) had her share of support at her race debut and wasn’t far away. Sure to be improved and can run well. ALDEBARAN DENBAY (3) improving type that was placed last start. Has claims. BELIEVE IN SUNNY (4) first starter sure to be well prepared by experienced and talented horseman David Abrahams, must be respected.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: STARLIGHT RED (5) experienced trotter that rarely runs poor races. Good effort last start when placed and strikes a suitable race. Worthy of an each way ticket. CHAMPAGNES (4) can mix her form and broke at a crucial point last start. Runner up two starts ago and gets another chance here. THATS YOUR OPINION (8) resumes here and has shown to have ability. Expect a forward showing fresh. Can threaten. FRANKYTHEFRENCHMAN (6) hard horse to catch and can mix his form. Broke last start when in a prominent spot. Has claims at his best. The Paul Rousch trained runners CASTLES IN THE SKY (3) caused a massive boilover last start and will attempt to repeat the same effort again here. Good run when leading throughout last start and must be respected again whilst stable mate MAORIS RETURN (7) is never far away and is amongst the place and first four chances.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: GALLICO (5) was a big winner last start and despite meeting stronger opposition might take some catching here. The Craig Turnbull trained runners ROCKY ROCKS (8) is lightly raced and returns from Tasmania having performed well whilst stablemate RED SHORES (6) also has ability, and both look well placed here and are great chances to be in the finish. YANKEE RAIN (4) capable filly on her day and she had her share of admirer’s last start. This is a suitable race and is one of the main chances. FLAMING MEL (7) resumes here and was racing well prior to the break and must be respected and can run well fresh.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: PIASTRI (2) is a first starter in the astute Mark Watson stable that is showing promise at the trials and expect a forward showing at his race debut. IMA TIGGY TIGER (8) continues to show improvement and hasn’t enjoyed the best of racing luck. Drawn to get a good smother and if the breaks go her way she will be flashing home late. Both EEBEEBEE (4) and SEVENTH IMMORTAL (1) have the race experience and early speed to be prominent and should be in this for a long way and get every chance. Expect forward showings. BJ ROBERTSON (3) strips fitter whilst TRENDY DELIGHT (7) is a trial winner and must be respected.

Race 5:
OVERVIEW: NOTHING SWEETER (9) was clearly not at her best last start but her prior form was solid for a race of this class. Gets another chance here to make amends. OVER THE LINE (2) drawn nicely here and is never far away. Expect a forward showing. BET SHEZA LADY (4) returns from Tasmania and should be at peak fitness for this. Strikes a suitable and can run well. IMA CHARMA (7) resumes here and does have his share of ability. Drawn wide and hasn’t been at the trials. Best form would have him close to winning. ELATED (5) was well supported at Albury last start and is a quick beginner. Expect a bold showing again. Both IMPEACHED (1) and EPIC ORION (8) will get soft trips from their respective draws and have claims.

Race 6:
OVERVIEW: FAITH FULL (7) has enjoyed a stellar year under the great care of trainer Jamie Egan and produced another strong effort to win the Horsham Trotters Cup last start. Expect another strong showing here. EL CONQUEROR (6) has proven to relish these standing start conditions, and both starts in Australia have been full of merit. Looks a threat again. ALDEBARAN BROOKE (11) made a mess of the start at her latest run, but her form prior was strong for a race of this class. Worthy of another chance despite the back mark handicap. VICI BLOOM (5) has ability and despite the class rise here might be emerging after her excellent win first up. Definite winning chance. THUNDA STRUCK (8) BENNIE AND THE JETS (2) WATCH AND ACT (3) BITTA IRISH LUCK (9) and KINGS GUARD (10) all have ability and can run well.

OVERVIEW: TELEMACHUS (5) is going better than his figure form reads and is working up to a win. Strikes a suitable race and can run well here. IM DUSTEE (4) is a very honest pacer that rarely runs a poor race. Placed last start and is one of the chances here. OKANUI BEACH (6) returns from Tasmania and has been bursting to win. Should be a peak fitness here and figure in the finish along with seasoned campaigner NEW YORKER (9) that should be running on late whilst WIND SOCK (3) SOHO PLAYGIRL (1) and EL BOSTON (8) have good ability and must be respected in an open race with many chances.

Race 8:
OVERVIEW: MADIGAN (11) is a very smart horse when right and has been working back into form and fitness. Looks suited to run a mighty race and deserves to get back into the winner’s circle. DIAMOND ECLIPSE (13) has enjoyed a solid season and continues to run well. Sure to make his presence felt again. FRUGAL FARE (9) 7yo that has experienced only 22 lifetime starts. Underrated pacer with loads of ability. Can be a major threat. DHAULAGIRI (10) racing with great zest and just behind the placegetters in the Horsham Cup. Must be respected again. THE STATESMAN (7) talented 4yo that has gate speed and can race in a prominent position. Can’t be ignored. HERAKLES (4) going well and gave a great sight in front last start in slick times. Can run well again. PRIORITISE (8) drawn to get a soft trip and is a place and first four chance. SIR NIPPA (1) has continued to improve and racing with great zest. Takes on stronger opposition and should be in this for a long way.

ALTA BAYAMO (4) speedy pacer that looks suited here from the front-line draw and might take some catching. CHIRRIPO (10) is racing well against stronger opposition and will be running home strongly in this along with the honest ANIMADO (9) that is never far away. Both STAG PARTY (7) and DOUBLE THE HUNTER (5) have claims from the front line draws.
