Race 1:
OVERVIEW: CADENCE LANE (4) was first up from a short break and did her share of work and battled on strongly. Strips fitter and should be fighting out the finish. JESSICAS STORY (1) gets the plum pole position draw and should be well placed throughout and will get every chance. Definite winning hope. CHINSKI (6) consistent trotter that continues to race well and looks suited here ad is amongst the winning chances. Both ALDEBARAN CAMPBELL (7) and SCAR (5) have good ability but can-do things wrong and are much better than their recent runs and can make amends. Must include. OFF YOUR FACESKI (10) first up from a long spell and might run well fresh.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: AGAINST THE BRIDLE (6) looks very well suited here after some strong performances against stronger opposition. Should prove hard to holdout. CHAMPAGNES (7) broke through for another deserved win last start and can threaten again despite the wide draw. MUMSTHEWORD (4) does have early speed and can take up a forward position. Can give a sight. THAT OTHER THING (9) local trained runner that has been mixing his form of late but can bounce back here. Take on trust. SHIELD MAIDEN (2) 10yo mare that is never too far away and is always a chance in this class of race. TARA TUFF (1) has been racing well and broke her maiden two starts ago after numerous attempts. Drawn well and gets every chance again.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: AMOUR MATERNAL (6) has been teasing to win in recent times and has been close on a few occasions and gets another chance here. Racing well and deserves a change of luck. MAORIS RETURN (4) getting fitter with each run after a long layoff. Can settle handy and be in this for a long way. HILLSIDE (9) in good form and worked to the front from the second line last start and proved too good. May not get the same luxury here and can make his presence felt again. MAC FLICK (12) lightly raced mare resuming and showed ability last campaign and expect a good showing fresh. Both ROMANTIC NINA (1) and POPPY POPSTAR (2) have drawn well to be prominent and will receive every hope. Both NIGHT WHISPERER (5) and NOBLE COUNT (11) can run well here whilst TUBS NOW SLIM (7) MIELICKI (8) and FRANKYTHEFRENCHMAN (3) at their best can be running on late.

OVERVIEW: SURPRISE TO ME (2) hasn’t been far away in similar races in recent times and looks suited to get every chance in this to be fighting out the finish. One of the main chances. WILL PATRICK (3) improved run last start at bolters odds and gets another chance here. CRITICAL ADVANTAGE (8) broke at a crucial point last start when starting favourite and can make amends here. PRIMZ LUCK (1) drawn well to be prominent and gets every chance. COL DU GRANON (5) WHATS THE TEA (6) and JAHBELLA (11) have the necessary ability to be in the finish but need to produce their best. Take on trust.

OVERVIEW: HOME AND DRY (9) finds it hard to win but is never far away. Both runs from a break have been solid for this. Gets another chance here. Stable mates SELF EXCLUSION (6) and HAIR RAZOR (7) can mix their form but have the necessary ability to be in the finish on their best form. Definite chances. Both GO GEORGE GO (3) and ERNIELOVENBOY (5) can improve their figure form in this and have claims along with MY LUCKY ROCK (4) whilst ONA MERRY DANCE (1) and SHANDIIN BEACH (2) have nice draws to race handy and be given every chance.

Race 6:
OVERVIEW: LITTLEBLABBAMOUTH (3) speedy mare that races well over the sprint trip and looks well placed here to take up a forward position and can give a big sight in this. REIGN EM IN (9) gets a nice trailing draw and will find this easier than last start and should be well poised throughout. Expect a big showing. IAMAWINGATE (5) capable pacer when at his best and races well in this class and over this distance. Must be respected. CELESTIAL DAYBREAK (8) racing well but faces a tricky draw but if the breaks come his way, he’s a definite chance. Both BLUE MIKI (11) and SALSBOY (10) will be running on late whilst SHADY DANCER (1) does have the draw to show improvement.

Race 7:
OVERVIEW: TOPHUT JOHNY (3) the old timer is racing with zest having won his past three starts and racing with great confidence. No reason why he can’t make it four in a row. MY BUCKS NIGHT (1) capable pacer that gets a plum draw and can race in a handy position. Hasn’t been far away and expect a strong showing. WICHITA KANSAS (8) gets a nice trailing draw and will enjoy a soft trip and if the breaks come his way he will be running on strongly. ROCKNROLL OPAL (4) placed last start and is on the up and can be in this for a long way along with THELONGROADNOWHERE (5) neither can be dismissed. HURRIKANE DUSTY (9) gets a nice trailing draw and must be respected along with ANGEL OF ANGER (6) and SIR VINCENT (10).

Race 8:
OVERVIEW: CAPTAIN MOORE (7) now a 3yo showed good promise last campaign and looks to have a promising future and can run well fresh here despite the wide draw. IM A DENNY TOO (3) hasn’t been far away of late and placed at his past two starts and strikes a slightly easier race to be well poised and fight out the finish. AMERICAN ALLI (1) was well supported to win last start a gets a favourable draw. HUNGRY HOGARTH (4) is never far away and must be respected. AUCKLAND RED (2) and ASMILEANDAWINX (6) can take up forward positions and have claims. LUVA SCRAP (9) ran very well last start, but his best form has been over the sprint trip. VALIENTE (11) has ability and can’t be ignored.
