Race 1:

SADIE ROSE (6) has drawn poorly however has been competitive in higher graded races than this recently and should be hard to beat.

ANNIE CROCKER (3) has been consistent without winning throughout her career, a win is just around the corner.

MY GIRL MIA (7) has placed twice in 5 attempts and is capable of doing so again today.

BLAZIN BELLA (1) has finished third at her past two outings and is drawn to be amongst the placings.

Race 2:

STEREOPHONIC (5) was retired from the race last start after being severely checked, previous starts for the Samantha Hill stable have been full of merit and should run well in an even race.

RUPERT ROSS (3) resumed from a spell last start with a strong effort after doing work early, should strip fitter and a strong chance.

KITTYKAT CUTIE (6) 2yo taking on the older horses and drawn poorly, however has shown good ability in her debut season and the small field helps her chances.

NEDS BEACH (1) drawn to be prominent for a long way.

Race 3:

ART REGAL (5) 2yo taking on the older horses but recent runs including placings in a Southern Cross Series Heat and Final indicate he is certainly capable of winning a race of this quality.

LUV ME OR HATE ME (3) runs his best races when close to the front and should be able to take up a forward position today from barrier two.

GROWLERS LAST (10) has been racing well of late and despite the poor draw should be able to make his presence felt in this race.

BARNEY FELLA (1) veteran who is still racing competitively in this grade and is drawn to give this race a shake.

Race 4:

A race with many winning chances.

TRANQUIL BILL (5) broke when resuming from a short spell but form last preparation suggests this race is not beyond him if he trots all the way.

MAJESTIC PARIS (10) has run into trouble at her last three starts, prior to that won two races in a row at Globe Derby under mobile conditions.

BROOKIES BABE (2) first up in SA for the Ryan Hryhorec stable is a big watch, two starts ago finished second at Geelong.

There are many more each way hopes including NORTHOLT, (1), TWIXTEN (4), KABAYO KING (6), ALLEYES (8) and PATRICIA EM (9).

Race 5:

POWERLINC (7) led all the way last start for victory, will have to come from behind today but drawn to get a lovely trail and will be hard to hold out at the finish.

BOSS MAJOR (3) top effort to run second last start, this is no harder and looks a major threat. GIANT JACKSON (1) has been consistent of late and if he can take advantage of the pole draw should be fighting out the finish.

WHISTLE ON BY (4)  is resuming and her best form would be good enough for this race, a big watch.

Race 6:

WHERES OUR MONEY (10) has changed stables since his last start, now trained by David Harding. Looks a strong chance despite the awkward draw.

WHITE STAR VILLAGE (1)  placed in his last three starts with a win and two placings, draw to continue this trend.

CHILDERS ROAD (5) always runs well in this grade and no surprise to see him figure in the finish.

DONT TELL ALICE (3) his last victory was back in February, however recent runs suggest another win is not all that far away.
