Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

Placed at his past four starts in succession, MOSSDALE TERRY (10) will be looking to go one better after finishing runner-up in the past two of those. Unable to reel in RACONG TIME last start, tempo will aid his chances of finishing over the top of them.

ROCKNPENNY (1) found the conditions to claim a breakthrough last start when finishing over the top of them to be rewarded for some smart performances leading into that outing. With the economical trip, he can be challenging again here.

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (8) is chasing a hat-trick after successive wins on this deck at the mile and middle trip. Finishing best in both victories, he will be probing and searching for the gaps.

MIRACLE MOOSE (3) was a winner in veterans company five runs back when darting home on the passing lane. He can be handy enough to making a late play here.

SELECTIONS: MOSSDALE TERRY (10), ROCKNPENNY (1), WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (8), MIRACLE MOOSE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MOSSDALE TERRY (10) to win

RACE TWO

Really making an impression in his last few starts, CALLING BUDDY (2) comes up with the gate to chase a fourth successive victory. Eased early before being sent around them last start, he was too strong. He can press the button early here and look to dictate.

ATTACHMENT (8) will be requiring a slice of luck from this gate to find the space with available time to issue a challenge. Firing out from gate 7 before releasing last start in a strong 3YO contest, he had been runner-up in successive starts behind THE JANITOR.

HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN (10) is on the back up from Tuesday where he was able to overcome gate 7 and finishing strongly for the prize. Tempo will aid his chances of grabbing the repeat.

AQUA SANCTA (4) continues to fly under the radar and was attacking the line from deep field here last week when runner-up to ROCKNPENNY. Positioning cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: CALLING BUDDY (2), ATTACHMENT (8), HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN (10), AQUA SANCTA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CALLING BUDDY (2) to win

RACE THREE

After two runs back from a spell where the effort belies the number, ALWAYS THUNDER (8) finds his opportunity to be in a perfect spot here. Not far away last start with a chequered passage, he can stalk the speed and look to take the snipers shot.

IM BOO (1) is a gate speed horse and from this alley will be punching through looking for the all the way performance. Not suited last start when chairing up over the 2138, he was game the start prior at the mile. He will be trying to fight them off.

FRANCO MACHO (9) cashed in here two starts back when firing out and then taking the trail before owning the passing lane power to arrive. He can make a late play.

MISTER FONZI (2) was first up for the new barn last time out when off the track over the 2138 in a race where nothing really made closing impact. He can be handy enough to chime in late.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS THUNDER (8), IM BOO (1), FRANCO MACHO (9), MISTER FONZI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS THUNDER (8) to win

RACE FOUR

Sectionally producing some solid performances from bad gates, DANGERZONE (1) secures his chance to make the most of the good alley here. Strong to the line last start behind HIRANYA after facing a second line gate, he was brave when parked two back. This looks ripe for picking.

O B LEGAL (2) should appreciate this level of opposition after tackling FFA company in recent outings, the latest when using the passing lane for the bronze behind MR MCLAREN and only 4m astern of the winner. With early hustle, he can find position to challenge.

COLLECT A DIME (6) was wide off the track and produced a strong effort when not too far from the winner RACING TIME. A gritty effort first over two starts back, he can feature here.

MONSIEUR DELAVOUR (8) was trying to make a passing lane impact last start when just 6m from the winner WE ALWYS HAVE FAITH. Stalking speed can see him rattling late.

SELECTIONS: DANGERZONE (1), O B LEGAL (2), COLLECT A DIME (6), MONSIEUR DELAVOUR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-8

RACE FIVE

An even looking mares Band 5 line up where position in the run could be all important. SHEZ NOTORIOUS (1) lands the ideal gate to be a player here and has been in handy enough form. Making good metres behind RACING TIME last start, back to her own sex looks right.

Requiring some factors in her favour from this gate, EMPRESS BYELINE (8) will be searching for the gaps. A winner from back in the pack two starts ago when finishing over the top of them, she did not get warm last time. With the soft trip, she can make a closing challenge.

MAJIC MOMENT (3) was trying to make a late play last start when midfield behind WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH. Striking trouble the start prior, in this mare’s company, she can be a player.

MISS FROUFROU (4) overcame the outside second line last start when powering home to grab a 3m margin in a qualifier. This is the next step up but cannot be ignored off that effort.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ NOTORIOUS (1), EMPRESS BYELINE (8), MAJIC MOMENT (3), MISS FROUFROU (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ NOTORIOUS (1) to win

RACE SIX

The recent performances of AURORA JOY (6) have been full of merit, including here last week when attacking the line from a long way back to finish 3m from the winner MISS FROUFROU. Just a neck from MIKI MAGIC the start prior, tempo can see her arrive.

AARDIES MONEY (3) was sent to the post deep into the red here last week in a similar contest and her night ended after 300 metres, striking trouble and put out of play. Making a strong close out two runs back at the 2138 behind HELL OF A HAND, she can chase some redemption.

SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (10) was wide off the track and tracing into the race strongly here last start when grabbing the bronze behind MISS FROUFROU. Tempo will be her friend.

THE VIXEN (9) had no luck here last start when needing a gap that did not arrive. Fading out after chairing up the start prior, following the speed can see her chime in here.

SELECTIONS: AURORA JOY (6), AARDIES MONEY (3), SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (10), THE VIXEN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA JOY (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

Enormous in defeat here last week over the 13 furlong trip, ALWAYS SMOKIN (4) backs up and returns to the mile where he has proven super slick. A winner at this trip two runs back in a slippery 1.50.2 rate, he was just 6m from NORTHVIEW HUSTLER last week after doing all the bullocking.

CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (3) released after finding the poles first here two starts back over this trip and then held on for the silver behind ALWAYS SMOKIN. A beaten fav when sent out in red figures last start, the added fitness is a plus and he can look to issue the challenge.

CATSEYE BEACH (7) resumes from a spell following a successful Sydney campaign that saw him pick up a pair of Saturday night wins at Menangle. A smart preparatory trial is tempered by the gate.

ALTA MAGACIAN (1) has faced tough gates at his past two starts and will be much better suited here on the poles from the get-go. He is a podium player off a soft trip.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS SMOKIN (4), CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (3), CATSEYE BEACH (7), ALTA MAGACIAN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS SMOKIN (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

The numbers do not really tell the entire story with MONTGOMERY BURNS (6) who has produced some handy efforts without reward. Beaten by gate 7 at the 2138 last start behind DARIN when nothing made a closing impact, a return to his own age can see him capitalise.

GEM PUNTER PETE (7) has no favours from the outside paint, but his effort here last week was sound after being exposed early. A winner three starts back when finishing best, he finds the right opposition to issue a challenge.

OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (1) will be third up for the new barn after placing in both runs since arriving in Qld. Chasing home behind the talented OUR INDIFFERENCE here on Tuesday, the gate is a big plus.

STUDLEIGH PUNTER (4) struck trouble last start when starting as the fav and did well to pick up some late metres. Settling handy against his own age and back to the mile will benefit his cause.

SELECTIONS: MONTGOMERY BURNS (6), GEM PUNTER PETE (7), OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (1), STUDLEIGH PUNTER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTGOMERY BURNS (6) to win

RACE NINE

A newcomer to Qld that joins the Shane Graham yard, GEE CEE CALDER (3) arrives the winner of his past four in succession. A last start Maryborough winner along the passing lane, he has strong mobile form and can look to make an impression first up.

TOP OF THE MOMENT (2) was in a pack of three going over the line in last weeks Christmas Cup behind the tearaway two of HIDE AND SEEK and GET USED TO IT. Needing a gap sooner than it arrived to starts back, he can show some early hustle to issue a challenge in this.

IS THAT A BID (4) returns off a freshen following a minor complaint that derailed his ID24 hopes. A beaten fav from outside the second line last start, he can make his presence felt.

VAN SANK (8) has now had three runs back from a spell, the latest when making good closing metres behind ZEALOUS SPUR for the bronze. With second line options, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: GEE CEE CALDER (3), TOP OF THE MOMENT (2), IS THAT A BID (4), VAN SANK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GEE CEE CALDER (3) to win
