Race 1:
OVERVIEW: MY ATLANTIS (1) resumes from a long spell but has trialled nicely leading into this and from the pole position draw will get every chance. Expect a forward showing. TRIROCKIN (4) good effort last start when close and doing some work. Looks suited here and should be hard to hold out. BACKBEACH PETER (7) did things wrong when first up but has shown talent and can improve here and don’t dismiss. MY MATE LUKE (2) hasn’t been far away from the placings and from the draw will get every chance whilst SURBITON CHARDONAY (5) resumes from a long spell and might run well fresh.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: IBERIAN (1) should be primed fitness wise having had three runs back from a spell and draws ideally here to get every chance. AMARTEY (5) does have the race experience and was runner up last start and gets another chance in this. ATTRACTED (3) youngster showing promise at the trials and is sure to be well educated by talented trainer Maddie Ray. Can run well. FRIKSHYN (8) has shown ability but doing things wrong. Take on trust. JAKEE BOY (2) is a 2yo first starter that will be well prepared by underrated trainer Paul Parsons and can run well at his race debut. SKYVALLEY BOY (6) did things wrong at his race debut but can improve with the race experience. Worthy of another chance.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: WATTS UP RAPTOR (2) first starter hails from the powerful Andy Gath stable and shows ability at the trials and expect a strong showing at his race debut. KEAYANG LAVITA (9) resumes here but started favourite at her race debut when doing things wrong. Expect major improvement here and is a major chance. WALLIS (7) has been placed on numerous occasions but struggling to breakthrough. Drawn wide but has claims. Both RASENGAN (8) and ALABAMA DELTA (6) can improve and have place and first four claims.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: SOUTHWIND CHLOE (6) has run some nice races without winning but has been running on nicely in recent starts. Definite chance here. Both THE NIGHT QUEEN (5) and MIDNIGHT MUSCLE (8) have been very consistent trotters placed in recent starts and are amongst the main chances in this. MELBREH (3) was runner up two starts ago and will appreciate a front line draw in this and must be respected. OBSIDIAN SURPRISE (4) improving type peaking fitness wise for this and can’t be ignored.

OVERVIEW: HEADLIKETEZZA (1) started favourite last start when well supported and wasn’t far away. Can improve here and will get another chance. LORINO (3) had some issues last start and yet wasn’t far away and prior form was encouraging. Gets another chance here. FIELD OF POPPIES (4) is bursting to win and strikes a suitable race. Definite chance. LIVERMERE (5) SIR NIPPA (6) MIDNIGHT MUSIC (8) have been finishing around the placings and must be rated as place and first four hopes.

Race 6:
OVERVIEW: MISTER EVOLUTION (4) both race starts have been very encouraging and shows good talent and will be improved by the race experience and expect a strong showing. BALLADORO (9) unplaced last start but his prior runs were solid and indicated he was working up to a win and can figure in the finish. OBSYDIAN (5) lightly raced pacer that continues to improve and must be respected. Both MALANI JOH (6) and IM THE WILD ONE (7) have been placed in recent starts but need to overcome wide draws and will need some luck for their respective draws. RIDDLEMETHIS (8) did things wrong last start but made-up loads of ground and caught the eye. Not out of this. IMAGUNNARESTNGO (2) drawn well and will get every chance.

Race 7:
OVERVIEW: HYKEEPMEPOSTED (1) youngster that has been showing plenty of natural talent at Melton trials and draws well and expect a big showing at his race debut. PARISAN ART (4) well-bred 2yo filly that has trialled up smartly for this and hails from top juvenile mentor Aaron Dunn and can fight out the finish. CAPITALISM (6) is showing good ability at the trials but needs to overcome a wide draw but can threaten. OH SO DREAMY (7) first starter arriving from NSW that has gained good experience at the trials and must be respected. HIGHLAND BRETT (11) nice effort at his race debut and will be running on late.

OVERVIEW: THE POSTMASTER (2) has kept improving with the race experience and strikes a suitable race from a nice draw and will get every chance here. MAGGIE MOTH (8) has run a string of placings and will get a soft trip and if the breaks come her way she will be running on late. RAKAROMPA (1) started favourite last start and did things wrong. Draws ideally and can make amends. THEROUX (4) improved run last start and has claims whilst WICKED HANGOVER (5) resumes and must be respected. DESTINY KEPT (9) is a first four hope.

OVERVIEW: AMERICAN VICTORY (9) has run some very good races without winning and deserves to breakthrough. Gets a nice trailing draw and can fight out the finish. SPORSTBOU (8) racing well and does have good ability. Just needs some luck from inside the second row and expect a big showing. HELLOVATIME (2) all three starts have been promising and drawn ideally here and is one of the main chances. KALKADOON DREAMING (1) resumes here and has shown good ability though can be a quirky pacer. A recent trial winner and can run well whilst TREACHEROUS JEWEL(6) resumes and might run well fresh.
