We head to Hobart for a Sunday afternoon meeting and it looks a competitive one.

Stranded Lollipop can get punters off to good start in race two then we can follow up with Smokescreen in race four who should be winning at first local run.

Fun to Love can keep the ball rolling in the following race despite drawing wide.

Kiavino Stride looks a good e/w play in the seventh race of the night.

RACE 1: 13:24pm Fehlbergs Produce Sprintlane Pace 1609m

The first of the afternoon is for the 2yos where we see a field of four to do battle. MANINKY MOONSHINE (3) will be better for his first run in the state and looks well suited in this line up so looks the hardest to beat. BOLT OF COBARGO (4) looks to get his best chance to breakthrough as will put himself into the race. RESURGENT HUNGER (1) and SHEEZA SOHO (2) round out the field and are open to improvement so wouldn’t shock.

TOP PICK: Maninky Moonshine (3) looks the hardest to beat.

DANGERS: Bolt of Cobargo (4) is the danger along with Sheeza Soho (2).

He has put it altogether of late winning against easier opposition and will take plenty of holding out. OUT OF EDEN (2) is still looking for a run from last week so tactics will be interesting here either way looks hard to beat. SWIMINTHERIVER (4) was better last time so is getting close to another win so keep safe along with the resuming CHENIN BEACH (1) who has the ability to figure if brings her best.

REMEMBER ME NOW (1) will be looking to lead throughout but will need to get a good first half of the race and then look to out sprint his rivals. SVITOLINA LEIS (4) is always close up and will be again so has to be included along with the likes of SPACEWRITER (2) and MACH ANGELO (7) who are capable if the breaks come their way.

He is very well bred but hasn’t set the world on fire in his career to date but does find a winnable race at his first local outing. TALK IS CHEAP (4) was a big improver last week leading throughout so if was able to get across early comes into calculations. AURORA REASON (5) will be looking to slide across early and settle just behind the leaders and from there will go close. DONE WELL (3), SAPPHIRE GAMBLER (6), LALIBELA (7) and CINOCAL JAMANE (8) are a quartet to include for the wider exotic placings.

FUN TO LOVE (7) was impressive at first local outing but will find this stronger and draws the outside so will need to improve again and she looks like she will. MISS DUTTON (9) has been ok at both runs back so should be ready for a peak performance and that will see her in the finish.  NOT YET MUM (8) has always showed ability and broke through before a let up so look him to be around the mark. RESURGENT WARRIOR (2), SERIOUSLY SAM (5), MORE THAN THIS (10) and KEAYANG KEVIN (11) are a quartet to include for the wider exotic placings at odds.

READY TO ROCK (4) is a new comer to the State who does have early speed so the start will be interesting so has to be kept safe. MAGOMEDOV (1) gets the draw to get his chance again so just needs the gap at the right time. HES APPLES (6) was good when resuming and this is a race his capable of taking out so keep safe. MONEYS NO ISSUE (3), PUNTARNO STRIDE (8) and MODERN POWER (10) are a trio to include for the wider exotic placings.

MY ULTIMATE JACKO (8) gets a soft draw so if follows the pegs and gets a late gap will be finishing strongly. KIAVINO STRIDE (11) is well placed here despite the draw as is capable of doing a bit of work in his races and can win. STRAWBERRY BLING (2), TASHS MATE (6), DAPPER (9) and DEADLY ASSASSIN (10) are a quartet to include for the wider exotic placings.

The last of the day is for the 60-66 pacers over the short trip. SETTEBELLO (1) is suited by the short trip and will be looking to lead throughout so will take plenty catching. ARDEN ROANOKE (7) is close to another win so will look to push forward and if gets outside the speed early will go close. MAGIC JOE (3) was huge last time and draws better here so will be a major player. WILL HE PIKE (2) has a good record over the short trip and first up for the new stable so look for a market move. MAJOR LESTER (8) is bursting to win and draws to get the right trip behind the likely leader and can finish strongly.
