Race 1:
OVERVIEW: T BONE WALKER (4) former Kiwi pacer having his first run here in Australia under the astute care of trainer David Drury and expect a strong showing. BALLADORO (7) good effort two starts ago and did things wrong last run but is worth forgiving. Shows ability and can figure in the finish. SIR NIPPA (1) not far away last start and from the draw will get every chance. MIDNIGHT MUSIC (5) first up since April and has failed to flatter in 21 starts. Trialling well and an improved showing would not surprise. ASHANTE PRINCE (2) nicely bred 4yo having his first race start. Watch with interest at his race debut. PEPPERCORN BARRY (6) is a first four hope.

OVERVIEW: APEX (8) hasn’t been far away in recent starts and is going better than his figure form suggests and can fight out the finish. NIGHT WHISPERER (6) runner up at his past three starts and is close to a win. This is a suitable race and is one of the main chances. KARAS DREAM (4) capable filly that strikes a suitable race and is amongst the main chances. CADENCE LANE (3) has been struggling to finish races off, she has the speed to lead and if she trotted throughout, she can be right in it. Take on trust. EARL PATRICK (5) resumes here and showed improvement last campaign. Has claims. Both HERBERT (7) and BILLYSOPHIA (1) are first four hopes.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: JILLIBY TIDALWAVE (8) has been amongst the placings in recent starts against stronger opposition. Faces a tricky draw but if the breaks come her way, she’s a definite hope in a very tricky race with many chances. REDBANK MOLLY (6) experienced mare that has measured up in this class before and despite the wide draw must be respected. BIZZIE LIZZIE (9) lightly raced filly resuming here and has showed ability and can run well fresh. NOTHING SWEETER (1) drawn well and should be well poised throughout and should be in this for a long way. ROLL ON APOLLO (10) resumes here from a very long spell and should have benefited from the long break. Expect improvement. PRESIDENTIALCHANGE (7) FAMOUS LABEL (2) HANOVER JACK (5) SWISS LIGHTNING (3) OSCAR BRAVO (4) all have ability and with a suitable trip in transit are capable of being amongst them at the finish. OVERVIEW: SWEETNIKKILOU (5) talented filly with a good record and looks nicely placed to run a big race here. Freshened up for this and will be hard to hold out. BIZZNESS CLASS (4) racing with great zest and does have the early speed to be well poised and should be in it for a long way. MAXY WANTS TO PLAY (6) just behind the placegetters last start and is very capable of being in the finish. MY ULTIMATE BILLY (7) has run some good races in the past and is never far away. Has claims. PLAINS IN HEAVEN (3) has been in great form against easier company but must be respected. Both SUPER CODE (1) and VICTORY GEORGE (2) have ideal draws to be a place and first four chance.

OVERVIEW: RISE ABOVE ALL (7) smart pacer when right and resumes from a freshen up. Chased home stronger company prior to the break and despite the wide draw will prove hard to hold out. NEATNTIDY (6) lightly raced pacer with ability and close behind some good type’s last start. Definite threat. EMJAYBEE (2) is a last start winner whilst ANGELSHAVTIME (1) has been close in recent times, both have favourable draws and will get every chance. HEZ ALL ROCK (8) strips fitter and will enjoy a good trip and can keep improving. HERNIE (5) will find this easier than recent starts and would not shock. TIME TO TORQUE (3) going well and is always a chance whilst OPTIMAL (4) is a place and first four hope.

The other debutante MEDIA MOGUL (3) is a 2yo that shows ability at the trials and is a definite chance. OUR BETTER BRO (9) has the race experience and looks suited here and must be respected. INTO THE HARKNESS (6) broke through for a much-deserved win last start and might go on with the job. SWEET MAJOR (1) can keep improving whilst YURUGA LASS (4) PERFECT PLAYGIRL (5) MY DARLING DANCER (11) RIVIERA ROSE (7) FEELINGOODFREDDIE (8) are place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: SENNA STORM (5) worked hard last start and was just beaten. Going well and working up to a win and is one of the main chances. MONTANA PRIDE (6) suited in this class and despite the widish draw looks one of the main chances. YANKEE GAMBLER (9) in good form and races well at this track and must be respected here. HEAVY METAL HAMMER (4) kept up with some very smart horses early in his career. Resumes here, smart stable and might be primed for a first up showing. GERRALE (11) has won at her past two starts and should be running on late again here. BAKERS BANDIT (8) capable pacer but has a tricky draw to contend with. VINNY ROCK (2) interesting runner resuming from a long spell. Smart when right and watch with interest. EASTBRO KOZZY (3) nice draw to be prominent can’t be dismissed whilst THE SILENT ASSASSIN (7) racing well but faces a wide draw both PRESIDENTIAL ART (1) and MY GREAT EIGHT (10) are first four hopes.
