Race 1:
OVERVIEW: TREACHEROUS REIGN (2) was slightly disappointing on face value last start when enjoying a good trip but strips fitter here and will find this an easier assignment. Worthy of another chance. SOHO EMPIRE STATE (5) is a youngster that shows promise and wasn’t far away last start and should prove hard to hold out. THE TRI LINE (3) has been racing well and continues to tease and is one of the main chances. Both WE FAVOUR ROSIE (6) and MR TEDDY (4) are very consistent pacers that are always in the mix of chances and if the race is run to suit, they can figure in the finish. PRESIDENTIAL ART (1) resumes here from a long spell but was a recent trial winner at Mt. Gambier and from the pole position would not shock first up.

OVERVIEW: LOCHINVAR SON (4) is a lightly raced 3yo that has shown promise whilst learning his trotting craft. One of the main chances if he trots throughout. KEAYANG BRANDY (5) is an interesting runner that has changed stables and was placed in a recent trial and can measure up here. RASENGAN (3) is a first starter that is well bred and is a big watch in this and must be respected. CAITHNESS LADY (7) has mixed her form but shown to have ability and can figure amongst the winning chances. THE NIGHT QUEEN (1) STAROFTHEWIND (2) BALLIANGUS (6) are trotters that will strip fitter and can show improvement to be amongst the place and first four chances.

OVERVIEW: CHEYS ANGEL (7) was having her second race start when finishing off nicely from well back and should be further improved by that performance and expect a strong showing here. GOODTIME STRYKER (4) is a fast beginner and was just run down last start and is sure to give a big sight again. OUR ULTIMATE LAYLA (6) let down with a big sprint to win last start and expect her to be running on strongly again. EASTBRO KOZZY (8) will strip fitter for his first up run FLAMING LUCKY (2) PRESIDENTIALCHANGE (5) IRISHMURPHY (1) BAYSIDE VICTORY (3)

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: GOLDEN TRIBE (7) has a promising future and resumed with an impressive first up win. Drawn wide but expect another big showing. ACT FAST (8) is an improving filly that finished off nicely last start and expect her to be running on late. Must be respected. ARTIST (6) shows plenty of ability and might be better suited with a sit. Showed speed to lead last start and was run down. Can bounce back here. STARTIN TO GOGH (2) resumes here and is showing improvement in recent trials leading into this. Can run well from the nice draw. GOODTIME CAPTAIN (5) enjoyed a good run to win two starts ago and was working into to the race nicely last start prior to being checked and breaking. Forgive last run and is one of the chances here. HUXHAM CHUBB (4) shows ability and has place claims along with CHEDDAR CHEESE (1) from the nice draw whilst WILLECO (3) is a first four hope.

OVERVIEW: GOLD IN PARIS (4) is having her first start and has been showing ability at the trials and is sure to be well prepared by the Finnis stable and expect a big showing. DON KATTERZ (3) had support at his race debut and sure to be improved by that run and is one of the main chances. GOODTIME MAE (6) hasn’t been far away and the race experience is a benefit and must be respected. BLUE MIKI (1) drawn well and has shown gate speed and should be in it for a long way. MY MATE LUKE (8) drawn to get a good trip and gets a nice trailing draw and not out of this. SWEET MAJOR (9) resumes here and has been placed five from six starts. Has claims. LILSTREPO (7) first starter drawn wide and will benefit from the race experience. QUICK DECISION (2) and SIR NIPPA (5) are place and first four hopes.

BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT (5) quirky pacer that can mix his form but does have ability and will find this easier than recent starts. Can threaten. SWEET IDEAL (7) highly talented filly that has plenty more upside and is one of the major chances. JILLIBY ADORE (8) chased hard in slick times last start and must be respected. HERNIE (4) SILVER MYSTIQUE (2) OPTIMAL (3) HEZ ALL ROCK (1) are capable of sneaking into the placings and first fours with suitable trips in transit.

OVERVIEW: BEST BETTOR BET (9) shows talent but still very raw and learning his pacing gait craft. If he does everything right, he’s a major chance. SHADY DANCER (7) speedy mare that races well over the sprint trip and can be in this for a long way. Definite chance. FAMOUS LABEL (6) consistently mixes her form and was very brave in defeat last start. Takle on trust. TRUE BLUE ROSE (8) resumes here and does have ability and should be doing her best work late. Can run well fresh. Veteran runners JOHNNY REDCOAT (3) OSCAR BRAVO (4) and HILLDALE SUNRISE (5) are never far away and have claims whilst ALOOK TO LIKE (1) and THEY CALL ME AL (2) have nice draws and are amongst the place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: BALTIC SPIRIT (9) has been close in recent starts and from the nice trailing draw should be fighting out the finish. SCAR (8) won well last start and does have ability. Can do things wrong but at his best he’s a major chance. Take on trust. ALDEBARAN ROCKY (5) strikes a suitable race to get back into form and would not surprise here. NUCLEAR ATTITUDE (7) getting fitter with each run and strikes a suitable race and has claims here. TOUCHANDGO (1) PERSERVERANSE (2) SURPRISE TO ME (3) and UNSPOKEN LOVE (4) have nice draws to get every chance whilst XIAOBO (10) is suited by the short trip and showed improvement last start but needs to do everything right.
