Form Analysis by Oli Cownie

RACE 1

MONSIEUR DELACOUR (1) holds the key to the early speed map. He raced without luck last time out.

DOCTA FEELGOOD (3) was able to hold the lead last time out before he was run down late by Call Me Keith.

REDS STAR DEAL (7) impressed with back to back wins recently before racing without luck at Albion Park last start.

HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2) his last start effort was much improved. He can secure a soft trip in this race.

SELECTIONS: MONSIEUR DELACOUR (1), DOCTA FEELGOOD (3), REDS STAR DEAL (7), HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2)

SUGGESTED BET:  MONSIEUR DELACOUR (1) to win.

RACE 2

KHULAN KID (1) lead two starts ago and over raced quire badly there. Did well to battle into second and was beaten by a horse that had a softer run throughout.

TOMAHAWK BART (3) found the lead last start over raced badly and was still good enough to hold a comfortable margin on the line.

TEDDY TURPIN (7) has scored back to back wins and is looking for the hat trick in this race. He can likely secure a softer run than the runs he’s had in his two wins.

PRINCE JOY (9) was taken on in the early stages last start before electing to hand over the lead in the middle stages of the race.

SELECTIONS: KHULAN KID (1), TOMAHAWK BART (3), TEDDY TURPIN (7), PRINCE JOY (9)

SUGGESTED BET: KHULAN KID (1) to win.

RACE 3

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (1) has acquitted himself well in tougher races. He has gate speed and this looks the perfect race for him to break through for a win.

A PERFECT DANCE (7) closed strongly late two starts ago to nab victory on the line. Couldn’t repeat that effort last time out over the longer trip, steps back to 1780.

OLLIE OLLIE (8) is racing well. Was making late ground up the inside last time out and can secure a similar run in this race.

OFFYAROCKA CROCKER (3) driven well last start to get into third sneaking runs up the inside.

SELECTIONS: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (1), A PERFECT DANCE (7), OLLIE OLLIE (8), OFFYAROCKA CROCKER (3)

SUGGESTED BET: BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (1) to win.

RACE 4

PUNTERS JEWEL (4) worked hard in the early stages last time out to contest the lead. Did well to battle on as well as he did last time out after working so hard in the early stages.

TOBEFAIRTOYOU (9) returned last start with a strong second after working in the early stages. Faces a tricky draw and will need to be well driven to score.

WAR CLUB (5) finished fourth last start behind Im Boo. Draws awkwardly but looks one of the key chances.

DIXIEDOOLITTLE (7) seems to do her best racing on the pegs an opportunity she has been presented with in this race following a fairly quick beginner.

SELECTIONS: PUNTERS JEWEL (4), TOBEFAIRTOYOU (9), WAR CLUB (5), DIXIEDOOLITTLE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: DIXIEDOOLITTLE (7) each way.

RACE 5

HOIHO (5) is an older horse that’s recaptured some of his better form in recent times. He won last start after obtaining the leaders back trail.

ISLA AND ADDIE (7) has been racing well. Faces a potentially awkward draw in this race which could make things difficult for her.

JOE CAVALIER (6) ran third in quick time for this grade last time out. Did obtain a soft run third on the fence and is unlikely to get such a soft run from gate 6.

ROCK IT BABY (4) making late ground last start in a race that was genuinely run.

SELECTIONS: HOIHO (5), ISLA AND ADDIE (7), JOE CAVALIER (6), ROCK IT BABY (4)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCK IT BABY (4) each way.

RACE 6

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (4) was taken back to last on the pegs from this same gate last time out before flashing into fourth.

MATAI REACTOR (8) has been in strong form recently. Draws to settle close enough.

DEANOTHEDINOSAUR (2) was a distant third behind the very smart Where The Boys Are, looks strong form for a race like this.

TORQUE WRITER (6) has done things tough in recent starts. Draws to get no favours again but seems to be racing well.

SELECTIONS: LOVIN MISS DIXIE (4), MATAI REACTOR (8), DEANOTHEDINOSAUR (2), TORQUE WRITER (6)

SUGGESTED BET: LOVIN MISS DIXIE (4) to win.

RACE 7

BRAVENTREACHEROUS (9) once balanced up in the straight closed strongly on winner Cougar Express. Draws awkwardly but has impressed in his short career so far.

GREAT ACHIEVER (4) ended up with a near insurmountable task after settled near last before running on into third. Huge run there and a similar effort would see him very competitive in this.

ALWAYS PROMISE ME (5) impressive winner two back closing strongly from the back to score. Didn’t have the clearest passage last time out in the concluding stages.

IMXTRASPECIAL (1) was thereabouts last start after racing up on the speed. Draws to advantage here.

SELECTIONS: BRAVENTREACHEROUS (9), GREAT ACHIEVER (4), ALWAYS PROMISE ME (5), IMXTRASPECIAL (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS PROMISE ME (5) to win.

RACE 8

TORQUE IN CONTROL (6) the reigning Redcliffe horse of the year looks to have found a good opportunity to add to her outstanding record at the track. Taken on early last start she was just nabbed late by the horse on her back.

MAJOR TRALEE (5) lead last start after an early battle for the lead. Tired late into fifth but was probably entitled to after the work it had done in the early stages.

OLD ENGLISH (9) was a last start winner leading all the way at Marburg. This looks significantly tougher from outside the back row but has been racing in good form.

OUTER CHANGE (4) just battled late last start after getting a fairly soft run throughout. May be suited in this race back to the shorter 1780 trip.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE IN CONTROL (6), MAJOR TRALEE (5), OLD ENGLISH (9), OUTER CHANGE (4)

SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE IN CONTROL (6) to win.

RACE 9

FLY BURRA (2) was forced to do the work last time out and was able to battle into a distant third. He looks one of the hardest to beat.

ALICE RHAYNE BOW (3) lead last start and appeared to give a good kick before fading into third.

BOSTON HARBOUR (9) has gone eight consecutive starts finishing in the top four horses. Can figure in this despite the awkward draw.

TENGGERI (7) finished in sixth last time out in the final of the APG 2YO Final. Did have a very comfortable run throughout.

SELECTIONS: FLY BURRA (2), ALICE RHAYNE BOW (3), BOSTON HARBOUR (9), TENGGERI (7)

SUGGESTED BET: FLY BURRA (2) to win.

RACE 10

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (2) was just nabbed in the last stride by a horse that had the cold sit on her back.

NO FAMILY LIKEMINE (8) was beaten on debut by Great Achiever, a horse that’s shown promise. His trial prior to debuting really caught the eye.

PINKCHAMPAGNE (4) impressed two runs ago when copping plenty of early pressure before giving a good kick late to go down in a close finish. She may need to do the work.

CHANGE IS GOLDEN (1) disappointed last start in a similar race last time out. Had a soft run with cover throughout and dropped out beating just one home. Has some gate speed and draws gate one which may see her improve.

SELECTIONS: CEDAR CREEK FALLS (2), NO FAMILY LIKEMINE (8), PINKCHAMPAGNE (4), CHANGE IS GOLDEN (1)

SUGGESTED BET: NO FAMILY LIKEMINE (7) to win.
