Race 1:
OVERVIEW: ALL THE TRIX (8) has joined the Adam Stephens stable and trialled up well for this. Standing start record is solid and despite the handicap can run well. SONARMI JOH (4) consistent trotter that keeps racing well and relishes these conditions. Can fight out the finish again. EFFICIENTLY (3) has shown ability but her past standing start record hasn’t been great, though this could change under the astute care of trainer Kerryn Manning. Must be respected. POPPY POPSTAR (2) keeps racing well without winning. Drawn well and suited from the handicaps. Sure to be in this for a long way. VALERIE LANE (7) could be the big improver here, classy mare when right and just needs to strike form.

OVERVIEW: GAELIC SON (5) nice effort when first up after a long spell. Strips fitter here and looks a major chance. OPRAH DOUBLE YOU (1) is very capable of winning this though the pole position could prove the obstacle. If she can hold up, she’s the one to beat. DANCING SPIDER (2) showed early speed last start and good improvement. Might be on the way up. Chance. Both BALLYMONEY (10) and JUDIELLE (7) strip fitter and can keep improving. TARA TUFF (6) has claims.

OVERVIEW: EMILY VINCENT (6) has strung together a string of placings but has proven a little costly to favourite punters. Going well and plays a major part again here. KIMCHI (4) will appreciate a front line draw and wasn’t far away last start when placed. Drawn well and must be respected. FAIR CHANCE (5) appears to go best when not used out the gate early. Can improve and should be running home late. Both STARZINEHREYES (1) and GRINNING BEACH BOY (2) have favourable draws to race handy and can figure whilst ROCKIN CHARMER (3) JUDES DUDE (8) FAMOUS LABEL (9) should be all running home late.

OVERVIEW: SHOOBEE GOTCHA (6) continues to race well but faces a wide draw here and will require some racing luck. Definite chance if things can go his way. SWISS LIGHTNING (5) is a very consistent pacer that continues to race well and record a string of placings. Last win was back in December 2023 but deserves another win soon. PRESIDENTIALCHANGE (3) best draw for a while and if he can make most of the front line he can figure in the finish. Both MARKLEGH CAZ (8) and THE REGULATOR (7) are racing well and sure to be finish hard late. Must be respected again. SPECULATOR (4) CALEDONIAN TERRA (2) QUICK DECISION (1) NAI HARN BAY (9) have claims.

OVERVIEW: JILLIBY TIDALWAVE (1) has been close in recent starts and gets the advantage of the pole position draw. Can race on the speed and gets every chance from this ideal draw. LITTLEBLABBAMOUTH (9) honest mare that rarely runs a poor race. Gets a nice trailing draw and is one of the chances. CARRAMAR OLAM (7) going well and despite the wide draw can threaten again. EASTBRO CHRISSY (5) has raced against some stronger company and hasn’t been far away. No surprise to see her playing a major part in this. HURRIKANE DUSTY (6) good runs in recent starts and just needs some racing luck from the wide draw to be in the finish.

OVERVIEW: AREUOHKAY (1) is racing well without much racing luck and strikes a suitable race from the pole position to be fighting out the finish. Definite chance. ONE OFF (5) experienced and consistent pacer that has been in the placings at recent starts and looks well placed here to be amongst the main chances. TERRORROAN (4) front row draw suits and this race looks suitable. Gets another chance. PRINCESS ALEXANDRA (3) fitter after three runs back from a break and improvement here will not surprise. Don’t dismiss. Both ALOOK TO LIKE (2) and ERNIELOVENBOY (6) have place and first four claims.

BETTES BLUE VIOLET (8) lightly raced 3yo filly that shows ability and was a winner back in February. Resumes here and was an easy trial winner recently. Expect a forward showing fresh. RESURRECTS (5) strips fitter after two runs back from a spell and can figure in the finish. LONGTAN VIPER (4) MOONIE RIVER (7) OPTIMAL (9) all have ability and are amongst the place and first four chances.

Drawn poorly but will be doing her best work late along with IDEAL ASSASSIN (8) that has the class to win this but just needs to find an opening to be a major chance. Both ASMILEANDAWINX (3) and WELL SAID NUGGET (2) have the early speed to race handy and must be respected. A ROCKNROLL JET (10) TIME TO TORQUE (4) GERRALE (5) and BATTON ROUGE (6) are going well to be included as place and first four hopes.
