Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

Placed in all three career starts to date, JUSTABITLIKETHIS (4) might just have the found the right opportunity to convert it to a victory. Stepping cleanly and setting a big break early, they slowly reeled him in last start when holding on for the silver. He can see them off this time.

ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (3) made an error last start which ended her chances. Chasing hard and just out of the placings in her first two appearances behind the handy WHY TANYA SUE in each, the added experience can see her make the most of this.

BUSTER DAN (2) finished midfield on debut, where he was able to trot cleanly. With the added race experience and a smaller field, he can take further improvement.

SELECTIONS: JUSTABITLIKETHIS (4), ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (3), BUSTER DAN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTABITLIKETHIS (4) to win

RACE TWO

TRIAGE (5)
has had a mixed start to the Qld chapter of his career, which saw him banished to the trials last time out. Earning the return with the second of the imposed hit outs a tidy effort at Marburg, if he can roll forward and maintain gait, this is a race within reach.

CONNIES PRESIDENT (10) has won two of her past three starts, the latest when descending on them in the closing stages to score. Wide off the track in a fourth sandwiched between the two victories, he can look to throw down the challenge once again.

PANDA FOOEY (1) made an error off the tapes last start when finishing down the line behind MY RUMPUR HAS IT. A strong 3rd despite making errors two starts back, he is in the mix.

ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (4) transfers to the Nathan Dawson stable after finishing unplaced at his past four starts. Placed in three of 10 since arriving in Qld, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: TRIAGE (5), CONNIES PRESIDENT (10), PANDA FOOEY (1), ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TRIAGE (5) win/place

RACE THREE

MY RUMOUR HAS IT (3) is in good touch of late and added another win to the tally last start when finding the front and seeing them off. She will need to come from the 20m in pressing forward but can look to chase a repeat.

DHONI TROUBLE (6) features in a stable change to join the Mitch Dawson team. Pressing on from the 20m to sit parked last start, he was game in defeat when under 4m from the winner. He can look to get forward again to throw it down.

BURKHARDT (10) made an error last start when tackling The Great Square where he was still able to beat a few runners’ home. Runner-up two starts back, he is in the mix.

JUSTABITLIKESULLY (1) should appreciate the head start on his rivals and if he can trot cleanly, can make them earn it.

SELECTIONS: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (3), DHONI TROUBLE (6), BURKHARDT (10), JUSTABITLIKESULLY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DHONI TROUBLE (6)

RACE FOUR

A return to the front tape in this line up looks the ideal catalyst for INSTANT DELIGHT (1) to bounce back into winning form. Overcoming the 30m mark four starts back, she followed that with the silver behind GLOBAL FLIGHT. A safe start and up near the speed should suit here.

TOP OF THE MOMENT (11) has the class but will need to have it on display to overcome the 30m impost. A winner in the heat round of the DJA, he showed good manners early in the Final but was unable to go on with it. Back to this grade is a huge plus.

FENOMENAL (2) settled in the running line last start when midfield and well covered behind MY ULTIMATE EDDIE. A winner here three back, he can be close enough to chime in.

INDEFENSIBLE (5) tackled mobile conditions last start where he was buried in the run from the inside second line. A safe start can see him a podium player here.

SELECTIONS: INSTANT DELIGHT (1), TOP OF THE MOMENT (11), FENOMENAL (2), INDEFENSIBLE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: INSTANT DELIGHT (1) to win

RACE FIVE

Making her first appearance on this side of the Tasman last time out, GO OH MICKY (4) burrowed through to lead from gate 1, but was unable to see them off when collared in the stretch. Arriving in good form from the South Island, she can look to go one better.

ROCKON ROCKY (3) showed early hustle last start from this same gate to press to the front and grip on late to claim the bronze. Wide gates had been denting his efforts prior and with another handy gate, he can settle clos enough to issue a challenge.

ROCK HAMMER (6) was sent forward to take control here last week and was running hard setting the speed in a 55.5 opening half. Fading late, he can be running on late this time.

DELILAH ROSE (5) settled in the 1x1 trail last week and making the closing raid was just a half-neck from the winner. Not too far away of late, she can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: GO OH MICKY (4), ROCKON ROCKY (3), ROCK HAMMER (6), DELILAH ROSE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Beaten by the outside second line last start, SOAP OPERA (4) eased for the poles to chase the short cuts when down the line behind AARDIE B MIKI in the South East Oaks. Her effort two back was strong after easing from a wide gate and running on late. This looks within her grasp.

ALTA SENSATION (2) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when holding on for the bronze from the pocket trail behind THE RAINBOW BEACH. 2m away when using the passing lane at Redcliffe the start prior, he can settle handy enough to issue a challenge.

OURSWEETPOG (1) was making her first appearance in Qld last start when out of the money behind NOVANTA RISING in a strong mile. The gate aids her chances of filling the minors.

COUAGR EXPRESS (10) chases a hat-trick of wins after a Redcliffe victory was followed by a tough effort at the mile here last week. This is another step up, but he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SOAP OPERA (4), ALTA SENSATION (2), OURSWEETPOG (1), COUAGR EXPRESS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SOAP OPERA (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

It has been a while since his last victory, but in the time since that last W, LUVBITE (2) has run some big races in defeat. Forced to sit parked last start, he was strong to the line as the beaten fav behind THE RAINBOW BEACH. He can force the issue early and look to see them off.

THE RAINBOW BEACH (11) has hit some good areas in recent attempts, the latest when powering home over the top of them at the mile to secure a PB victory. Too slick for them at Redcliffe three starts back, he can issue a closing challenge.

ART JESTER (8) eased from the wide gate last start and was picking off some closing metres to grab the bronze. After a string of wide gates, finding the fence at the start will be a plus.

SISTA BLISS (1) should appreciate the inside gate and can take an early trail in behind the action, ready to take a closing shot.

SELECTIONS: LUVBITE (2), THE RAINBOW BEACH (11), ART JESTER (8), SISTA BLISS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LUVBITE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

Continually in the mix in this company, COMMODORE JUJON (3) was a winner here three starts back over this trip when darting through on the passing lane to score. Doing the work early last time and then still finishing within 4m of the winner, he can look to take his shot in this.

KICKATINALONGPONY (6) eased from the start here last week and from deep field was the widest runner swinging for home, but he gathered them in to win in the last strides. That mad it successive victories in this grade and despite the wide gate, he can chase the threepeat.

TAIRLAW TOLL (10) was sent forward from gate 6 last start to sit parked when tackling the mile where he was able to graft out a half-neck defeat. He can do the work to take his shot.

ROCKTAGONAL (8) started from this same gate last start and just lost momentum when finishing under 2m from the winner. Finding space in time will again be his challenge.

SELECTIONS: COMMODORE JUJON (3), KICKATINALONGPONY (6), TAIRLAW TOLL (10), ROCKTAGONAL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: COMMODORE JUJON (3) to win

RACE NINE

Having just his third career start, THE TORQUE MAJORITY (6) will be stepping up against the older horses once again, the 2YO producing a smart effort last start when grabbing the bronze, first up from a break. A smart winner on debut, finding position cheaply can see him capitalise.

BOTTICELLI (11) made an error last time which see him on the ODM embargo, however his run in defeat was full of merit. A winner here three starts back when pressing to the front to dictate from gate 2, he can issue a closing challenge.

ARCHILLES (10) found the ideal conditions to cash in last start when finding the front, releasing and then finishing best in the stretch. Never too far away in this grade, he can chime in again.

BADLANDER (8) was snookered three back along the inside from this gate last time at the mile and found the space to dart through for the silver. He will be probing once again.

SELECTIONS: THE TORQUE MAJORITY (6), BOTTICELLI (11), ARCHILLES (10), BADLANDER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE TORQUE MAJORITY (6) to win

RACE TEN

A wide open race to close the card where MACS A DUDE (9) looks to bring the superior form lines but will need to overcome the second row. Wide off the track over the latter stages last time from this same gate when unplaced, he was runner-up two back and can capitalise in this.

OLLIE ONE SHOT (3) was runner-up last start at Marburg when he fired across from a wide gate to take control and went within a head of taking them all the way. He can press forward here and look for an improvement to his figures here at HQ.

TACKAS LAST DANCE (2) has hit the board in five of her past six starts, the past two when runner-up. They have been at Redcliffe, and she can look to bring that to the big deck.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (5) rolled forward form a wide gate last time at Marburg where she sat parked and was able to grins out a 3rd place. She may need to be working again here.

SELECTIONS: MACS A DUDE (9), OLLIE ONE SHOT (3), TACKAS LAST DANCE (2), SHEZ ALL STYLE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MACS A DUDE (9) to win
