All horses that raced at Nanango Show on Saturday 13 March, 2024 underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the course and were passed fit to start.
Race 1 - LADBROKES BLACKBOOK PACE 1780M
Diego Delgado dropped into the position behind the leader racing into the first turn.
Epic Orion led the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 500 metres.
Miss Mia raced three wide prior to dropping into the one out one back trail near the 1500 metres.
Press Statement raced wide whilst working forward to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 500 metres.
Artful Maid commenced a three wide run from the rear of the field near the 600 then switched back toward the pegline near the 450 metres.
Nautie Galvinator hung out in the score up – warning issued.
Lulu Lucifer briefly broke stride in the middle stages of the score up – a warning was issued.
Race 2 – STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE 1780M
Foveaux Major NZ led the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 1400 metres.
Batman Bart worked forward three wide to take over the position leading the one wide line near 1350 metres.
Beef City Starzzz failed to gain a clear run to the finish – untested.
Certainlycallitin utilised the sprint lane to finish second.
Perfect Feelinghad a tendency to over race throughout the middle stages of the race.
Race 3 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE 1780M
The Last Starfire was a late scratching behind the barrier at 6:24 PM on veterinary advice. The gelding will require a veterinary certificate before being eligible to race again.
Night Shadow raced three wide for the first 400 metres whilst being restrained to the rear of the field. Three wide one back from the 800 metres.
Dead Set Crazy (TR) swung round in the early stages of the score up – continue out of the draw in the mobile barrier races. Raced three wide for the first 400 metres whilst being restrained to the rear of the field.
Our Dolly commenced a three wide run from midfield near the 800 metres.
Race 4 - HUSTLER X PACE 1780M
Pennies Following commenced to tire from the 550 metres after leading the one wide line throughout ultimately being beaten in excess of 75 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities however, the gelding displayed a slow post race recovery. The gelding is placed on its last chance to race competitively.
Dipped In Silver three wide two back from the 750 metres.
Downtown Manhattan was caught racing three wide for the first 350 metres whilst being restrained to other rear of the field.
My Ultimate Heston commenced a three wide run from midfield near the 750 metres.
Shakatie was three wide one back from the 750 metres.
Race 5 – DOOLITTLE LODGE PACE 2040M
Sunny Cove withstood a short early challenge for the lead.
Teachers Pet led the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail after 250 metres.
Funnily Enough worked forward three wide to take over the position leading the one wide line after 250 metres. Gained a one out one back trail near the 1600 metres.
Motu Cullen NZ raced wide whilst working forward to issue a short unsuccessful challenge for the lead near 1600 metres and was obliged to lead the one wide line thereafter.
Tactfilly Miracle had difficulty obtaining a clear run to the finish – not fully tested.
Royal Princess utilised the sprint lane to finish second.
One Last Roll pulled very hard in the score up and throughout the middle stages of the race. Commenced a three wide run from a rearward position near the 750 metres.
Race 6 - GARRARDS HERE AT THE TRACK PACE 1780M
Whata Reactor led the one wide prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 1450 metres. Gave ground over the concluding stages.
Convair Hustler NZ pulled hard in the score up. The gelding worked forward three wide to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1450 metres. Pulled hard throughout the middle stages.
Call Me Trish commenced a three wide run from the rear of the field with a lap to travel.
Race 7 - AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS 2 WINS PACE 1780M
Left To Rocknroll hung in and brushed a marker peg near the 250 metres.
Tuffy led the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 550 metres.
Montana One broke free of interference near the 400 metres. Having considered the gelding’s recent record Stewards ordered him stood down from racing until his completion of a satisfactory requalifying trial.
Chakana broke free of interference near the 450 metres – placed on her last chance to race truly.
Astrophilia raced three wide for the first 400 metres whilst being restrained to the rear of the field. Checked by a galloping runner near the 400 metres.
Junior Ryan commenced a three wide run from midfield near the 1400 metres to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 550 metres.
