Race 1 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE           1780M

The All Clear was delayed by the Chair of Stewards as he had observed the driver of Champagne Reactor raising his hand in the score up to signal a gear problem.  After taking evidence from Leonard Cain, driver of Champagne Reactor, as well as Starter John Petersen and considering the observations of the Stewards it was determined that Mr Cain had signalled a gear problem before the starting light was activated. He subsequently retired the mare from the race with a broken hopple carrier strap. The Starter explained that he had not seen Mr Cain raise his hand and had he done so a false start would have declared. With all things considered Stewards declared Champagne Reactor a non-runner and the All Clear was given on the Judge’s numbers 4,2,5,6,8.

Blissful Identity – driver Riley Butt was fined $200 under the provisions of AHRR156(2)(a) in that between the 400 and 200 metres he had used his whip with more than a wrist only flicking motion.

She Owns The Dayled the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail after 350 metres.  

My Ultimate Louie worked forward three wide to take over the position leading the one wide line after 350 metres.

Champagne Reactor was declared a non-runner as she had suffered broken gear in the score up requiring the mare to be subsequently retired from the race.

Melton Xmas Girl was racing in tight quarter near the 250 metres resulting in its inside sulky wheel contacting a marker peg.

The Blue Wrenhung in slightly near the 250 metres tightening the ground of the runner to its inside.

Race 2 – AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS 1 WIN PACE         1780M

Rockin Chika had a tendency to hang out in the score up – a warning was issued. Hung out on the first turn and when corrected by its drive shifted in and contacted a marker peg.

Team Sport led the one wide line and withstood a midrace challenge for that position

The Tax Evader over raced throughout the middle stages. Gave ground over the concluding stages.

Threentworaced three wide throughout. Issued an unsuccessful midrace challenge for the position outside the leader. Gave ground over the concluding stages.  

Lincoln Hartwas placed back in the barrier draw in mobile barrier race his having satisfied QRIC requirements.

Race 3 - BURWOOD STUD PACE        1780M

Bears Best tired from the 600 metres to be beaten in excess of 62 metres – placed on his last chance to race competitively. Hung in and contacted marker pegs whilst tiring – a warning was issued.

Perfect Feeling over raced throughout the middle stages whilst leading.

Goodtime Shady broke in the score up and refused to settle for some distance – placed right out of the draw in mobile barrier races.

Isla And Addie over raced throughout the middle stages. Driver Shane Graham was fined $200 under the provisions of AHRR156(7) for allowing his whip to extend outside the confines of the sulky whilst striking the sulky shaft.

Race 4 - REDCLIFFE YEARLIING SALE SUNDAY MARCH 24 PACE            2040M

Master Charles utilised the sprint lane to win.

For No Reason led the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail after 350 metres.

Major Mondo over raced over the first 400 metres whilst being restrained to the rear of the field.

Substitooth worked forward to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1600 metres.

Fire And Ice three wide one back from the near the 650 metres. Over raced throughout the middle stages.

Race 5 – HUSTLER RAPTOR PACE     1780M

Three Parts Greyraced roughly in the score up – placed on its last chance in the draw in mobile barrier races. Raced roughly at various stages of the race – a warning was issued. 

Certainlycallitin hung out under pressure in the run to the finish – a warning was issued.

Bertils Firefoxled the one wide line prior to gaining a one out one back trail near the 1250 metres. The gelding hung in resulting in his inside sulky wheel locking with the outside wheel of the runner to his inside with both runners being severely checked. The gelding is placed on his last chance to race truly.

Nuclear Blingchecked near the 450 metres when runners its fore locked sulky wheels. 

Mullum Doc checked near the 450 metres when runners its fore locked sulky wheels. 

My Girl Mandycontacted the inside sulky wheel of the preceding runner when that runner was inconvenienced behind runners that had locked sulky wheels near the 450 metres. 

Rollonx checked near the 450 metres when runners its fore locked sulky wheels. 

Barkway Margaretinconvenienced with her inside sulky wheel being contacted by the trailing runner  near the 450 metres. 

Anyonewilldounderwent a veterinary examination behind the barrier and was passed fit to start. Commenced a three wide run near the 1400 metres to progress forward to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1250 metres. 

Race 6 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB PACE   1780M

Holme Boy broke stride free of interference near the 1450 metres – placed on his last chance to race truly.

Highview Sadler NZ was held up for clear running in on the final turn then had difficulty gaining a clear run to the finish.

Schooby was outpaced from the 450 metres and was then able to gain ground over the concluding stages.

Beef City Starzzz was inconvenienced near the 450 metres by a runner which was giving ground.

Race 7 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE      1780M

Artful Maid withstood a strong early challenge for the lead.

Diego Delgadomounted a short strong challenge for the lead then gained a one out one back trail near the 1300 metres. 

Misstrepo commenced a three wide run from towards the rear of the field near the 900 metres. 

Everything Happens  worked forward three wide to take over the position leading the one wide line near the 1300 metres.

Motu Cullen NZwas three wide one back from the 900 metres.

My Ultimate Victorhung in and contacted a marker near the 600 metres – aw arning was issued.held up for clear running on the final turn the finished strongly along the sprint lane.
