Race 1 - POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE   2040M

I Am Marquez Inclined to hang in contacting a number of marker pegs including upon entering the home straight. Connections were advised a warning will be placed on the Gelding.  

A Whole Lotta Rosie NZ Delayed the start when the number 1 carrying strap needed to be refastened. Broke in the early stages of the score up for a short distance.

Teddy Feels Good Caught wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.

Katacha Man Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Offyarocka Crocker Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside of the leader nearing the 1600metre point of the event.

Race 2 – LADBROKES ODDS SURGE PACE   1780M

Candykane Nearing the 500 metre point when commencing to tire quickly the nearside sulky wheel was contacted by Vallani Magic who was trailing. Resulting in the mare being retired from the race when the tyre became fouled.

Party Polotix Contacted the barrier arm in the early stages of the score up.

Vallani Magic Caught wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position. When training the tiring runner Candykane nearing the 500 metre point the Mare struck the nearside tyre. Stewards noted the mitigating factors and took no furter action than to note the circumstances.

Calf Pen NZ Left a one out trailing position nearing the 1100 metre point working forward to the position outside of the leader. Nearing the 600 metre point became unbalanced and broke gait free of interference. Connections were advised due to the geldings recent record in relation to breaking gait a satisfactory requalifying trial will be required prior to resuming racing.

Rock Hammer Cast an off fore shoe leaving the 600 metre point of the event.

Race 3 - FASTEST LAST QUARTER IN FEBRUARY - THE NARCISSIST 27.5 PACE        1780M

Frozen Jewel Caught wide over the early stages of the event working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Vodka En Ice Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Cruz Joshua Broke free of interference leaving the 500 metre point and connections were advised the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

Monterey Jack NZ Underwent a pre race veterinary examination after being involved in a traffic incident on route to the racecourse. No significant abnormalities were detected and the horse was passed to race.

Race 4 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL UP TO 2 3YO+ WINS PACE   2040M

Pretty Little Liar Failed to circle in the pre-race preliminary circle. Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the lead.

Chocolate Norman Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event finishing in excess of 47 metres from the winner. Connections were advised in considering the geldings previous recent history a last chance to race competitively will be placed on the gelding.

Race 5 – DRIVER OF THE NIGHT JORDAN TOPPING PACE    2040M

Hoiho NZ Restrained to a rearward trailing position.

Lesvos Lad Restrained to a rearward trailing position.

Feeling The Power Inclined to over race when racing with cover trailing the leader.

General

Driver D. March was fined the sum of $100 under AHR Rule 162 (1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum time standards in a race for this track covering the first half in 65.1 seconds.

Race 6 - MAZDA ASPLEY 1 WIN PACE            1780M

Come On Tascott After leading throughout commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 400 metre point. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow post race recovery. Connections advised potentially a virus was present in the stable and would report to stewards if anything came to light in the coming days.

Tamarah Caught wide over the early stages of the event working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Bettor Dream Sweet Restrained to a rearward trailing position.

Beau Hart Cast a near fore shoe in the event.

Race 7 – WOMENCAN TEAM TEAL CUP         1780M

Torque Writer Broke shortly after the start and will now be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

Magicol Ideal NZ Broke in the early stages of the score up and will now be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts. The Gelding then commenced to over race significantly and had to be taken forward in the event. After over racing significantly the Gelding then commenced to tire leaving the 500 metre point of the event.

Race 8 – ELDERS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PACE  2040M

It Aint Royal Left a one out trailing position nearing the 1400metre point working forward to the position outside of the leader for the remainder.

Race 9 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MAIDEN PACE          1780M

Sports Mode Inclined to race roughly entering the first turn then again leaving the 400 metre point of the event when leading. A warning was placed on the gelding.

Cant Be Helped Broke in the score up and to continued to gallop for a significant distance taking no competitive part in the event. Connections were advised the Filly will be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts.

Creedence The Gelding was inclined to contact his own sulky resulting in the gelding over racing. Connections were advised to take the necessary measures to prevent the gelding contacting the sulky in future starts.  

Race 10 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER JUDY MOLE 1 WIN PACE            1780M

Amillionchances Over raced when racing with cover throughout then leaving the 400 metre point of the event commenced to race roughly and broke gait. Due to the Geldings recent poor record in relation to breaking gait. Connections were advised the gelding will be required to complete two successful consecutive requalifying trials prior to resuming racing.

General

Driver B. Barnes was fined the sum of $100 under AHR Rule 162 (1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum time standards in a race for this track covering the first half in 65.5 seconds.
