RACE 1 – 2024 RISDON HOTEL COUNTRY GRADUATION SERIES (HEAT 4) = 2050MS
JILLIBY MISTRESS (R Hryhorec) underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as it raced at Globe Derby Park 18th February 2024. Passed fit to start.
BETTER BROTHER (B Page) hung inwards front straight in the run to the finish and was unable to be driven out fully to the line.
Trainer/reinsperson Dale Afford (GIRL FROM HEAVEN) reported that the mare which was beaten 69 metres will now be spelled.
RACE 2 – SPILLMAN AIR PACE – 1609MS
Near the 150 metres TAKE MY WALLET (S Pascoe) was forced to ease as there was not a full run to the inside of MISS ARTEMIS (K Rogers) which was utilising the sprint lane.
PAY ME MORTGAGE (B Page) hung at various stages of the race and a warning issued.
RACE 3 – HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY LEO GEBERT PACE – 1609MS

PAY ME INTEREST (N Brown) galloped in the score up and dislodged the lugging pole whilst in a break. Stewards were satisfied that the mare had been given its opportunity to a start and it will now be excluded from the draw in future mobile barrier races.
RACE 6 – KOHNKES OWN PACE – 2050MS
Reinsperson Dean Girardi (JULIUS FRANCO) was fined $100 under R162(1)(y) for when leading through first half of the last mile setting a time 65 seconds which is outside the prescribed time of 64 seconds.
RACE 7 – VALE NEVILLE THOMSON PACE – 2050MS

UNBECOMING (M Smith) hung inwards on the home turn final occasion and tightened the racing room of ANTIGUAS BE BE (L Ryan)
