Trainers with multiple horses engaged in any given race were questioned as to the intended driving tactics to be adopted

 

RACE 1 – ALLIED EXPRESS TROT (1720 MS)

ROYAL CHARLOTTE– Raced roughly shortly after the start and will now be placed on its last chance in the draw.

XEBEC– Checked near the 300m.

EBONYS AVENGER– Tired, beaten 230m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have cardiac arrhythmia. It will be now be stood down for a period of 14 days and pending a satisfactory trial, ECG and veterinarian clearance before being permitted to race again.

TIPSY TURVY– Broke gait near the 300m

RACE 2 –LIFESTYLE COMMUNITIES PACE (1720 MS)

BETTER DAY– Held up making the turn into the home straight.

SWEETPASSION- Held up making the turn into the home straight.

DANCE AWAY– Raced three wide in the middle stages.

CLASSIC MISSION NZ– Raced three wide in the early stages.

TWISTED BLISS– Inconvenienced then pull hard in the score up and a warning issued.

RACE 3 – COLIN REDWOOD MEMORIAL VSTA TROTTERS HANDICAP FINAL (2240 SS)

GENERAL – Prior to the all-clear being given Stewards reviewed the Stewards Video of the concluding stages. It was established that LUVSKI which was third past the winning post, broke gait again over the concluding stages and went past the finishing line in the incorrect gait. As LUVSKI was covered by ILLAWONG LARAJAY fourth past the finish, Cork fifth past the finish and HIGHPOINT sixth past the finish. As such Pursuant to the Victorian local rule Rule155(A) LUVSKI was relegated behind these runners and the placings were amended accordingly.

WALKER – Broke gait in the home straight.

LUVSKI – Broke gait on the first turn. Broke gait again over the concluding stages and went past the finishing line in the incorrect gait. The gelding was placed on its last chance to race truly.

MIELICKI - Broke gait on the first turn and had no clear run in the home straight.

ILLAWONG LARAJAY– Slow to begin and raced three wide in the middle stages.

ANTONOV NZ– Checked on the first turn and broke up gait near the 600m.

HIGHPOINT– Raced three wide in the middle stages.

OUR SAFARI SUN– Checked and broke gait entering the back straight.

CORK – Hung outwards making the turn into the back straight.

IMPERIAL WHIZ NZ– Began badly and will continue to be placed outside the draw at its future standing starts.

 

RACE 4 – TAB UNCLE PETRIKA TROTTERS FREE FOR ALL (1720 MS)

OLLIVICI NZ – Broke gait in the home straight.

ONE OVER ALL NZ– Out of position and will continue to be placed outside the draw at its future mobile starts

RACE 5 – RENOWN SILVERWARE PACE (2240 MS)

MAGNETIC TERROR NZ – Raced three wide in the early stages.

JILLIBYJACKSPARROW – Held up making the turn into the home straight.

NONPARREIL- Held up making the turn into the home straight.

 

RACE 6 – GARRARDS TIGER TARA FREE FOR ALL (1720 MS)

KOSIMO – Trainer Julie Douglas was cautioned regarding presenting the gelding late in the parade ring.

RACE 7 – SWIFT SIGNS 3YO (2240 MS)

SWEETNIKKILOU – Raced three wide in the middle stages.

FRANCO TYSON – Pulled hard in running. Tired, beaten 75m and a warning issued.

COPPER CLEAVER- Tired, beaten 89m and a warning issued.

KINGMAN NZ– Raced three wide in the early stages.

RACE 8 – NUTRIEN EQUINE PACE (2760 MS)

BETTORPATCHMEUP – Held up making the turn into the home straight.

LE BELLE BIJOUX – Raced three wide in the early stages and pulled hard in running.

DHAULAGIRI NZ – Pulled hard in the middle stages.

RACE 9 – 2CONSTRUCT TROT (2240 MS)

LEANNE LEEANN – Scratched on veterinary advice at 12.06pm and will now be stood down for 28 Days.

EL RESAMO– Out of position after breaking gait in the score up and will now be placed outside the draw at its future mobile starts.

EE BE MAC- Began badly and will be placed outside the draw at its future mobile starts. Held up making the turn into the home straight.

B K MERLOT – Broke gait under pressure in the final lap.

IMPERIAL MONARCH NZ- Held up and unable to obtain clear running in the home straight.

ALDEBARAN DEMI– Held up making the turn into the home straight.

 

 

 

 

RACE 10 – ALABAR PACE (1720 MS)

OOH AH LISTAH – raced three wide in the early stages.

YOUNG BLUEY - Held up and unable to obtain clear running in the home straight.

MAJOR MANBAR – Raced three wide in the early stages.

SILENT MAJOR NZ– Gave ground and beaten 42m.

DIAMOND ECLIPSE– Driver John Newberry was cautioned for contacting marker pegs just prior to entering the sprint lane.

MONA MIA- Out of position and will continue to be placed outside the draw at its future mobile starts.
