Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
RACE 1 – WESTERNTRILOGY.COM.AU PACE (2130MS)
FLY TO FAME – Late scratching at 9.22am when Trainer K Warwick advised the mare was found to have a hoof abscess to the off fore. Ms Warwick was reminded of her obligations to ensure she effects such withdrawals prior to the prescribed time of 8.30am whenever possible in future.

RACE 2 – BRIDGE BAR @GLOUCESTERPARK (DIV.1) PACE (2130MS)
SHOWPONY was a late withdrawal at 6.29pm when the gelding underwent a veterinary examination at the request of Driver K Symington due to it feeling uncomfortable in its action during the preliminary and was subsequently found to be lame in the near fore. Trainer D Young stated that the gelding had shown no signs of soreness leading into the race. Mr Young was advised that the gelding would be stood down from racing for a period of 7 days and until the provision of a veterinary clearance.

RACE 3 – TEAM BOND PACE (2130MS)
PIVOTAL (C Voak) – Inconvenienced when the pace eased in the back straight on the second occasion.
RACE 4 – ENTERTAINMENT WITH HORSEPOWER PACE (2130MS)

RACE 5 – IM THEMIGHTYQUINN PACE (2130MS)
IRA POOLE NZ (G Hall Jnr) – Driver G Hall Jnr was fined $100 under HR162(1)(i) for failing to be in the correct position by the candy pole.
FRANCO MECCA NZ (C Voak) – Broke gait leaving the back straight on the final occasion after being restrained behind BELLEZZA NERA (D Egerton-Green). Driver C Voak was fined $100 for careless driving under HR168(1)(a) for allowing FRANCO MECCA NZ to race too closely to BELLEZZA NERA and having to be restrained and shifted inwards causing the gelding to break gait. When assessing penalty, Stewards considered the circumstances of the incident and degree of carelessness.
GREGARMY (C Suvaljko) – Inconvenienced by a galloping runner leaving the back straight on the final occasion.
RACE 6 – TABTOUCH FFA PACE (2130MS)
FLYING RUMOUR – Late scratching at 10.21am when Trainer M Reed advised the gelding was found to have an abscess to the near fore.

RACE 8 – STEELOS PACE (2130MS)
STREET APPEAL NZ (C Suvaljko) – Driver C Suvaljko reported that the gelding contacted its sulky through the early stages and over-raced as a result and he therefore allowed the gelding to improve forward leaving the back straight on the second occasion to race outside the leader.
EYE BETTER (K Symington) – Inconvenienced when locking wheels with TRITTRITTBANGBANG (G Hall Jnr) entering the front straight on the final occasion.
RACE 9 – 7PLUS TROT (2536MS)
ELISH STAR (K Harper) – Gave ground from the 800m to be beaten 194m. Due to the uncompetitive performance is now stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory requalifying trial.
MAJESTIC DREAM (L Harper) – Gave ground from the 800m to be beaten 117m. Due to the uncompetitive performance is now stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory requalifying trial.
