The sprint lane was in operation at todays event.
Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided Stewards with their intentions prior to the event.
RACE 1 – LADBROKES BET TICKER PACE – 1800MS
Reinsperson Angela Chapman (RUPERT ROSS) was reminded to ensure she holds her position until the start is called.
RACE 2 – LADBROKES ODDS SURGE PACE - 1800MS
Michael Norman reported that despite making alterations to the sulky TEDDY SANDEL continually made contact .
Trainer Tony Martlew (NO ULTIMATUMS) reported that the gelding had a laceration inside its mouth that will require dental attention subsequent to the race.
RACE 3 – MITAVITE STUDGRO PACE - 1800MS
Reinsperson Dean Girardi (MAKAILA) was reprimanded under R162(1)(i) for being out of position at the candy pole.
RACE 4 – 2024 SA BOTRA 2YO KINDERGARTEN SERIES (HEAT 3) – 1800MS
TORQUE INTHEUSA (R Hryhorec) hung inwards shortly after the start and veered inwards severely checking BIZZIE LIZZIE (J Kittel). TORQUE INTHEUSA will be excluded from the draw future in mobile start races.
ERROL FIN (K Wilson) which galloped shortly after the start will be excluded from draw in future mobile start races. A warning was also placed on ERROL FIN which broke gait on two occasions in running.
A warning was placed on ROCKNROLL LENNY (K Rogers) which hung inwards and raced inside marker pegs near 200 metres.
RACE 5 – NORTH EAST GROUP TROTTERS MOBILE – 2230MS
IRENE ROSE (D Smith) was reinstated in the draw for future mobile start races.
RACE 6 – K & S ELECTRICAL PACE – 1800MS
No report.
RACE 7 – ECO-WISE TROTTERS MOBILE – 1800MS
JET LEGS (K Wilson) galloped near the 600 metres and was placed on its last chance to race truly. JET LEGS cast the near fore shoe in running.
THE NINTH WAVE (K Rogers) hung inwards after winning post lap to run and dislodged a marker peg.
RACE 8 – AB AIR SERVICES PACE – 1800MS
BEAUTY ABOVE (K Rogers) hung inwards and dislodged two marker pegs after winning post lap to run. A warning was issued.
The sulkies of ANNIE CROCKER (D Smith) and PLUTUS (M Smith) momentarily locked stays on the home turn final occasion when PLUTUS was held up for clear running.
