RACE 1 – BATHURST TOYOTA GOLD BRACELET HEAT 1 – 1730 metres
FAY IRENE– Shifted out under pressure approaching the 150 metres resulting in BONJORGE, EYE CAN TRY and MICKEYS BRIDE being inconvenienced. A warning was placed on the record of FAY IRENE.
BONJORGE– Inconvenienced approaching the 150 metres when FAY IRENE shifted out.
CENTOFELLIE– Pre-race blood sample. Broke clear of interference passing the 1400 metres. A warning was issued. It was noted at the completion of the event the number 3 hopple carrying strap had become detached.
EYE CAN TRY– Inconvenienced approaching the 150 metres when FAY IRENE shifted out.
DREAM MELODY– Trainer Bernie Hewitt was fined $100 under Rule 273(6)(a) for presenting the filly with the incorrect number fitted.
MICKEYS BRIDE– Inconvenienced approaching the 150 metres when FAY IRENE shifted out.
MISS COLLANN– Broke clear of any interference approaching the 1500 metres. A warning was issued.
SOHO VESPER LIND– Post-race swab sample.
RACE 2 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT 1 – 1730 metres
WAR DAN BUDDY– Pre-race blood sample. Hung out at various stages when leading. Post-race swab sample.
TAPAGANOOSH– Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 96 metres, however in view of the fast mile rate (1:52.7) a warning was issued.
IDEAL TIMING– Checked passing the 400 metres when held up behind TAPAGANOOSH which commenced to tire.
RACE 3 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT 2 – 1730 metres
DASHING– Pre-race blood sample.
NATHAN STREET– Post-race swab sample.
BEACHRIDE– Paced roughly passing the 400 metres and again passing the 200 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding’s record.
RACE 4 – BATHURST TOYOTA GOLD BRACELET HEAT 2 – 1730 metres
LUX AETERNA– Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
MISS MIKI MAY– Inconvenienced passing the 400 metres when FAYS WATCHING commenced to tire.
STYLISH LAZARUS– Jack Trainor, Driver of STYLISH LAZARUS was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that approaching the 900 metres he permitted the filly to shift out when not fully clear of A LOT OF LUVIN which was inconvenienced momentarily.
SOHO HONEY RIDER– Driver Michael Stanley was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to fully maintain his position until the start was effected.
RACE 5 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT 3 – 1730 metres
RAVISHING SLOY– Post-race swab sample.
RAYS REDEMPTION– Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 200 metres. A post-race veterinary examination of RAYS REDEMPTION revealed the gelding to be displaying atrial fibrillation and in accordance with Rule 101C(2)(a) RAYS REDEMPTION will now be stood down from racing for a period of 14 days, until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards and a satisfactory ECG being furnished.
MAURLEN BOY– Held up inside the final 200 metres.
AMERICAN SPIRIT– Pre-race blood sample.
INTRUSION– Declared a late scratching at 1.54pm when the gelding was found to be lame. INTRUSION will now be stood down from racing for a period of 10 days and until a veterinary clearance is tendered.
RACE 6 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT 4 – 1730 metres
SWIFT AND DIRECT– Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 100 metres. A warning was issued. In not taking more severe action Stewards were mindful of the fast mile rate (1:53.9).
SOHO SPECTRE– Post-race swab sample.
ROYAL CRUISER– Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 7 – BATHURST TOYOTA GOLD BRACELET HEAT 3 – 1730 metres
LIBBY LOU– Post-race swab sample.
AROMET GIRL– Pre-race blood sample.
FIREPROOF– Broke clear of interference passing the 1500 metres. A warning was issued.
